Exhaloprez
How do the AF Tours compare with both the Miura PP 9003 and the Callaway X Muscleback irons with respect to forgiveness, distance and feel? I suspect the Miuras are more forgiving but are they substantially more forgiving? Really appreciate your input. Thanks.
supo
U havnt really gone a similar path here they all look. vEry different the pp dont look that forgiving really they are cavity but def players clubs the heads small the soles thin remind me of fourteen tc1000 the aftours are a blade all be it forgiving compared to the othrr blades in blade land. But a blade none the less. The callaway x forged might be the easiest to play out of these big heads pretty chunky butter soft all good clubs id go af tours of these in my book they are the best if this lot. sandee11
I would go for af tour. Also, why not also consider Yamaha 2012 tour irons? I think both af tour and Yamaha 2012 tour are on BST. I don't think u would play other irons after playing either sets I mention. If budget allowed, go for both!! I am lucky enough to own both set. I think I'm done hoing irons set! Will be listing my other irons set for sale soon!!
Exhaloprez
I may have mislead you. The Callaways which I have included in the comparison are the CALLAWAY RAZR X MUSCLEBACK IRONS.
+TourSpecGolfer
If you provide specific info about your game and curret setup we could help you narrow it down better.
chiromikey
i've not hit those particular miuras so others will have to comment. i have hit the callaways on the range and i don't think i could compare them to my af-tours except to say that they're both mb's. i'm not saying they're bad because they're not...there's just not anything special that stands out about them. Exhaloprez
My current bag is: Cleveland CG Black 10.5 Driver TM Rocketballz 3W Miura MG 3h, 4h Miura PP 9003 5-GW Chikara 57 degree SW Miura KM-350 Putter I am a 15 handicap playing only 2x a month (work keeps me off the course) but I hope to soon be playing weekly. The weakest part of my game is mid irons. Putting and driving very good and chipping is good. I play 7-PW well. My ball striking is average and my 7 iron carries 145 yards. My tempo is fast but uneven. I really like simple irons and not the shovel SGI's. Irons swing speed is 85 to 90.
