Posted August 23, 201212 yr Just got my epon zero head today, want to shaft it up and play this Sunday. I have no idea what to put in the head. I currently have - crazy TJ80, QFE, attas 3, crazy CB80 LS 2, GD DJ 6. Need help. Thx. Current drivers- crz 435ll /cb46, Yamaha tour v425 qfe.
August 23, 201212 yr weigh the head and then figure out what length u want to try it at...i have a feeling this head performs well at shorter lengths with heavier shaft
August 24, 201212 yr Author Play nine holes this morning, the epon zero shafted with QFE 75sx, play at around 45". 100% fairway. Some long, some aren't. Overall, very very good driver, need more time to dial in. I found the head quiet forgiving, probably is 10.5 degree. Most of my drives were slight draw, other are straight. With other heads I have, they would go hook or slice easily...... The Yamaha v425 10* play quiet same as the epon zero FOR ME. I actually do think epon zero is probably the easiest FOR ME compare to other drivers I have. I think distance wise, the epon zero wasn't longer nor shorter than any other driver I have. By the way, I don't get much roll at all. Mostly pure carry, same as most of my other drivers. I really like the look of this driver!!perfect size!! Hopefully spending more time with the Zero, I'll get more out of it!
August 24, 201212 yr Congrats on finding a club that suits you, hopefully the honeymoon will last… If not, as most marriages end in divorce these days, there is always BST with many eager buyers...
August 24, 201212 yr DJ sounds like a good option as spoon says. I would also say a higher launching crazy shaft like the Longest Yard series would be good provided it fits your swing. I've got the Zero dialed in pretty well now days. I love my Ryoma but I get a sadistic form of satisfaction of hitting perfect shots with a driver like the Zero. It's just a head you need to get used to but after that its a Gem & when I go back and fourth from the Zero to the Ryoma I find my striking is spot on and I hit the Ryoma dead center. Good luck, Give her time, and have fun!
August 24, 201212 yr "100% fairway. Some long, some aren't. Overall, very very good driver, need more time to dial in" 100% fairway and you still need to dial it in more??!! The last person to do something like this was some dude by the name of hogan at cournoustie a few years back:)
August 25, 201212 yr Author 100% fairway but not consistent in distance, difference are like 20-30 meters. I think I miss hit some, by the way, only 9 holes, not 18.
September 12, 201212 yr White is still limited around 30 pcs I reckon. I had a client that had one, I prefer the black one
September 13, 201212 yr Some day maybe I'll see one.. For now getting ready to try a "new to me" Kasco 340 cc DNA tour... Hoping I can control the Motore Speeder in stiff that is currently installed in it...
September 13, 201212 yr Oh yes, love the white head. I'd have this instead of black. I'm suprised more manufacturers don't offer different paint options for the heads like Kamui. Is it yours shacco?

No, not mine. Don't have the game for it;) I actually took the pics from a website of a shop in the UK. Oh, come to think about it, it's probably not legally correct to do it. Maybe I should take it away again from the post? Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
September 13, 201212 yr Yea this head is purdy, it's not a flat white like TM but more a pearl metallic white no? The Epon Zero has made me a better ball striker. Going back and fourth from that to the Ryoma really makes me hit it on the screws. I use the Zero & Personal Blades on most days and whip out the VG3's and Ryoma on the important ones where I need to take money from others...=o)
September 30, 201212 yr Okay, what are the longer term results with this driver? Gauging by the lack of them in BST must be good, but inquiring minds want to know...
