FINALLY

18 days in US customs (incompetent idiots) box had been opened and the irons apparently dumped and stuffed back in the box.

Gaming them tomorrow. Came with the Modus 3 shafts. After swinging a couple on the lie board it appears the lie on them is very

close if not perfect (for me). Meaning they are going to be too flat for a lot of people. Attention to proper lie is going to be very important

and does make a difference.

Just ask Stew

Would be interesting to see what Dale thinks in comparison to Launch Lab and kamui for distance and feel...

played mine today after getting them bent 1* upright

MUCH more consistant flight for my liking

-1 * today to a max of 4* and these with the thumps were sensational

yes bending these to your desired lie is a very good idea

I'll have a better idea tomorrow evening as I'm off to the Range, which as a better ball to Hit.

The feel is nice, for me it's not to soft... Maybe a nice crisp feel

Distance wise is hard to say as I've not gamed it yet and at the first range I went to the Golf Balls were not the best!!

Lovely looking and apart from the Grip been Fitted , slightly Twisted( I know , who would have thought it??) it feels very nice!!

Thinking of this Yamaha Remix or Srixon for it's easy adjustable and more importantly head removable for each travel. Wonder how hard it is to get extra sleeve adapter?

Dale,

Any updates on the Tour driver???

Hello..

Yes

I've been out with this for 2 Days and after the customary lets beat the living Day lights out of it I'm now Starting to Settle:

Feel:

As I've been told so many times, these are as Good as it Gets... Not Epon Soft but its better!!

I find there's a nice Crisp feel.. Not harsh but very Solid and the Sound is very refined!!

Looks:

Can it get better?

Build:

Again it's top Draw, apart from either , my Grip was put on Twisted OR the Shaft as Twisted on Install??

Slightly disappointing on a Club of this Calibre!!

So how did it fly?...

I'm glad to say its longer than the 3wood otherwise she would be Sold( I hit the 3wood miles)... Flight is Medium for me , even tho its a 10* head... I find you can move the ball with this and when stroke solid , isn't effected by the Wind??

It's hard to say how long the club is , as our fairways are wet and there not much run BUT once the course is drying I'm sure it will be up there with the others!

Overall I'm delighted with the Woods full stop... And given time I think these will work out to be excellent

Just a shame I've now got to remove the new Grip!!

It's hard to say

I love the feel and sound of Yamaha drivers. Sorry to hear about the grip, I would be disappointed as well. I am debating on the Tour or RMX, I love the look of the Tours but don't know if I'll be able to handle this driver.

I can't honestly say its any harder to hit than any of my others, yes it needs to be Swung BUT as I found out you don't have to be Super Sonic man to get this Baby to move!!

The RMX is made in China??...

Looks a little bit open… I thought better players preferred a slightly open face….
