i have a 8.5* kamui pro head................. 189 gram head.....................

i want to keep this "just in case"

i dont know.. im completely at a loss of what to do with it build wise....

length???

shaft???

weight???

swing weight???

never been this perplexed before.

ive been going the "other " way for the last 6 months.

thing is i used to sue a 6.5* titleist 905 driver for a long time .. so im ok with low launchers.

but thats before iwent mad.........

seriolsuy im stumped here

suggestions please.............................................,

sounds like a LD head?? at 189grams

you have to shaft this with a 55-65 gram shaft and play it at 46.5-47"

YOUR specs are very long driver esque.

44 .5 inch and low 60s shaft weight ??????????????????

those will be Elvish specs!

i guess swing weight issues aside you should be fine.

I have an 8* lightweight component head with a 50gm X flex shaft that i play at 44.5"

Not sure of the swing weight but i seriously can't miss a fairway with it and it's looong!

i'm with c...47" and make it a bomber!! and if you don't like it, at least i'll have something to hit if i ever get over there!!

hahahah...,

hocko thats what i was thinking...

light ... hig launch.. x flex shaft..

ive tried the crazy sigma 50 82 gram at 44.75..

was alsost impossible for me to hit it.

slicematron..!

so i know the heavier shorter option is OUT..!

I would be concerned if you go too long in the shaft you are going to have to jack the flex in order to keep the timing in check with your SS and self described transition/tempo...

Yep, go light and short and it can't get away on you.

Long 46" and SX, bomber.

Play it long or weight the head.

ok... ok i have a ton of short length drivers no long ones.... this time ill make it long and light se how she goes...

My very first thought was to go really long, stupid long...47-48" long. I mean you've got tons of other fairway finders. Build something monstrous.

I bet if you played with it long enough to adapt you'd figure it out. I borrowed my brothers driver (ping g10) with stock stiff shaft in it and was hooking everything something fierce. (Normal driver has been R11s with real RIP phenom 70 tour x) But after 20 balls and some adjustments I was hitting it dead straight albeit way too high.

Can't wait for the results. Just give me warning before range session to put boards over my windows!

i'm telling you, with a short range session to figure it out you'll be killing it. i play 47" with d9 swing weight and kill it...and i'm only 5'6"!! i can't wait to hear the results with your swing!
