TM Weight Port - Installation question

Taking them out is the easy part... drill a small hole in the plastic body (between the rods) and then screw in a screw a ways and grab hold of the screw with a pair of pliers, exert some pressure and it should pop out.

I was looking more for some info on installation of the weight port as I have a brand new, unused one that I am going to put in a TM 540 Tour head. The weight port has a "wrapper" on it and when peeled off there is an adhesive of some type on the weight port. I did not know if this adhesive already on the weight port was sufficient to hold it in or if some additional epoxy or similar materail was needed??

I have heard that the "sticky stuff" used to hold the weight port in is similar to the stuff used by Callaway to hold the medallians on the back of the X14 irons. You can pop them off and then stick them back on.

I've heard the same removal process works very well. Peel off the paper on the new weight and apply...stays in there without any problems or so I've read numerous times. I intend to do it myself on my R500.
