I think Nippon WV wedge shaft is available in 3 models i.e. WV 105 (111g), WV 115 (122g), WV 125 (133g). What's the best configuration in terms of choosing the right shaft assigned to a 52* and 58* head in this case a yamaha 2011 forged wedge. Should I go WV105 for 58* and WV115 for the 52* or better to use one model say WV115 on both 52*/58* set.

Any thoughts guys?

I use WV 115 for all my wedges. I prefer using the same weight shafts for my wedges.

I think DG Spinner is using two weights setup i.e. wedge flex is optimised for sand/lob and their wedge+ flex for gap and pitching wedges where wedge flex is lighter than the wedge+. This made me think that this could also apply to other brands that offers at least two wedge flexes like Nippon WV.

lighter in LW same in aw + sw. never use LW for full shots so the lighter and flexier lw shaft i find better for more delicate shots

i will go heavier on my sw and lob if i would go that route.

personally all my wedge shafts are the same weight. i just vary with

swingweighting

I put the 105 into a 54 and 58, am finding it too light, I like the feel though so will pick up a couple of heavier shafts and try those

+1

I had the 115 in mine....
