mauvanilla
Hi All, I have been playing the Crazy Air Iron Forged Dot One for about 6 months. Sold my AF-501, and no regret so far. Actually most of the bag now is of Crazy (shafts and irons + toyoshima wedges/older version very rusty), except for the hybrid (Epon AF-901 and Ryoma Driver and Woods) and Epon i33 putter. Wondering if anyone is playing the Crazy Limited Forged Muscle Back. I like the Crazy Air, but the looks are not that great, that "plastic" thing in the back looks a bit cheap. I am keeping it but thinking of a new set and I was considering the Muscle Back for more control and more feel. Wondering how does it compare to the Epon Forged 2012 Personal Limited and even some other other musce back like the Romaro and Yonex. Thanks in advance, Mo
mygreenaliem
I game the Crazy MB forged Ltd Edition. They are simply the best clubs I have ever gamed. My experience has been with all sorts of irons - ranging from Epon 502 and blades, Yamaha inpress tour (2012 model), Miura blades etc. I like all of these clubs but wanted something that felt between the hardness of the Yams and Miuras and the softness of the Epons and by luck, the Crazy dudes created a head which met my wish! I game them with the Crazy Target tour shafts and would strongly advise marrying the two if you decide as I know the heads were designed with those shafts in mind. When I die, I will be buried with them.

gocchin
I was there when Carl was fit for those irons at the Crazy Factory.... he took one swing of the blade and you just saw the smile on his face... If you were to look at other blades, the Crazy (there are not many if any sets left), the Epon Personal and the Romaro Pro Forged all have very positive feedback. I would rank these three ahead of the Yonex. The personal are surprisingly forgiving and all 3 models feel very good and are quite close in size. mauvanilla
Carl, thanks for the detailed reply. Made my mind for the blades. Gocchin, could you kindly confirm they still have a set available? If confirmed I ll place the order tonight hong kong time Thanks Edited November 14, 2012 by mauvanilla

tae
Just an update for Carl ... ordered the clubs last week, cant wait to have them here I have been playing crazy mb.... and I like it a lot. I used to have dot 2. Dot 2 were very very good.... But they were just too big for me. It almost looked like mizuno jpx irons. MB is about 5-10 yards short but they are dead accurate.... and they lood really nice. But they are not as forgiving as dot 2. I am not sure if I wanna be buried with them.... I rather be buried with my favorite wine.. ^^ But they are certainly better version of dot 1 and 2 for better players. You will enjoy them. mauvanilla
Hi guys! Lat nite at the range today at the course. Amazing clubs ... compared to the Dot one (which now I a seriously thinking of NOT keeping) they are less forgiven but the feel is undescribable (I have been through Epons and Yamahas... but this one is something else). Indeed you have to go for the sweet spot (which has been fine with me) and once you get there you can shape the shots as you want. Like VERY VERY much that it comes with a 3 iron, long time I dont have one and it flies as long as the EPON 901 (19) but with much more precision. I have lost a bit of distance, I would say about 10yards (or less) which is fine is brining one club up and instead of smashing going a bit easier and more fluid on the swing. I know my wording my not be so technical, but hope you guys understand what I mean ... Pictures will follow (promised) tomorrow as the bag is in the trunk of the car. I say, I am now an extremely happy golfer!!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful and performing club!!!!
