Ok I was going to use the Aerotech shafts, but these are going in first.

Bangvoo Premium stiff flex by Fujikura and Muziik. To my knowledge, only one other TSGr has ever hit them. Wish me luck. Gocchin's shaft Bible says flex similar to 1050s, profile like Modus3. Next week should be exciting.

Bob,

An Aerotech and a Bangvoo is like a battle between David & Goliath i.e. in terms of $$, Aerotech $350 vs. Bangvoo $2K.

Well, I haven't hit a Bangvoo but I would bet my money for the Aerotech. This shaft is the reason why I can't justify upgrading to the Romaro H, it just make my Miura BB stupid easy to hit!

I understand however because I bought these at a nice price from Tae, I can't pass up the opportunity. If they don't fit my profile I will let them go to another lucky TSGr at a great price also.

The Aerotechs haven't left my radar.

Premium irons with shafts like these and I'd probably need a moment alone in the woods every now and again.

Love premium graphite iron shafts. Looking forward to the review mate. Have you tried Quarda? Would love a comparison.

Always wanted to try Quadra however the information I found said they are very stiff and harder to get up.

Still and harder to get up??? Somehow only in golf shaft forum we can write such things without thinking too much into it...... Hahaha

I've tried the 100i in stiff. Mid to high launch and seemed to stay in the air forever. Amazing distance but still accurate (as accurate as a 16hdp can be!). My club builder said that they cpm'd as regular so they're very easy to 'get up' :)

Yes I was referring to the DGL - 115S model.

Hey R....

115s was mid launch.... like diamana thumbs.... good shaft but not as good as cbi and bangvoo in my opinion.

I hope these shaft really works out with you.

I tried attas, both diamana and fubuki, quadra, ozik, pentacross, ad tour, and crazy cbi.

Honestly, I liked bangvoo the best.

As I told you, my friend, orthopedic surgion, said my wrist is safe now.

That's the only reason I sold all my graphite shafts.

It's time for me to go back to the old days..... steel shafts!!!! haha

Anyway, if you don't want them, let me know.... I don't mind buying them back.

I just feel bad if it doesn't work out with you.

This is how I do business with anyone.

I am having another garage sale soon..... let me know if you need anything.

Cheers!!

Sounds like a great combo! Can't wait for the review. I haven't had the chance to hit the new Yamahas yet so very interested. And that shaft choice....verrry nice, it'll be a one of a kind set!

Change of plans. Not installing Bangvoo because they are not taper tip and I didn't want to bore the hosel. Aerotech I95 going in this weekend. Because of holiday won't see them until following week. If these don't work may go for Fuji MCI shaft.

Let's see if the Aerotech Kool aid is any good.

I think you'll like the Aeros. Just got a first report of them in Personals today, i95s, sounds like a winner. Don't see any reason for these not to be a great combo but the Bangvoo would have been sick. And I never call anything sick.

I know they would have been and maybe I will never know. However with the chance that they didn't work for me, I didn't want to worry about installing other shafts. Plus when and if I ever sell the heads, I didn't want buyers objecting to the hosel size. Don't be surprised if Crazy finds it way into these as I guess they will issue new models soon.

Fuji MCI appears to be .370 Parellel tip as well.

Ok spent some significant time at the range today. Wasn't swinging very well though.

Aerotech shafts report.

Trajectory - Mid to high. No ballooning. Consistent flight throughout set.

Feel - Pretty good. Not as soft as I expected, but that really isn't the reason I bought them.

Distance - Well struck balls soared. Unfortunately I hit too many on the toe. Not the clubs issue. I take responsibility for that. Hard to tell with range balls.

Accuracy - This is where they excelled. Straight to baby draw. Great complement to the iron heads which are dialed in for accuracy.

Flex - Bought R flex and I am glad I did. Play S in steel sets.

Only issue was with the 5 iron. Had some hooks with it. I think these were bad swings.
