idrive
I've had 6 different Muira iron sets over the last few years. I try the new models when they come out. Always enjoyed them but always had something else I liked better. NOT dissing on them. They are great clubs if they fit your profile. Played the new MB-5000WC Wedges today. First time in the bag with no practice time. WOW Very possible these are the best of the new releases for 2013. There wasn't anything I didn't like about them. They performed flawlessly and felt absolutely amazing. This comes from someone that doesn't ride the Miura bandwagon. I'm telling you..... Miura fan or not, these wedges are "it." I was also able to order custom lofts and lies. Can't believe how happy I am with them.
bogeydog
Great info. I am ordering now. I have been eying these since release. Time to buy. What specs did you get?
idrive
I had both bent 1* weaker to achieve the lofts I wanted. It also put the bounce right where I wanted also. The lie was flattened out to 61*
MoreBeerBetterGolf
What exactly appealed to you about them in particular? How do they compare with the Golds? (I think you have golds)
Spoon
I feel the same way about my 1957 wedges. They are the only miura products vie truly enjoyed But these new wedges are on the radar..
wmclarenf1
I was also able to order custom lofts When you say custom lofts meaning they wil specially make a say 54 instead of taking a stock 57 and bending it to 54? All the new lofts and bounce for JDM wedges don;t seem to be what I want which is why my wedges are still the older models.
EdGolf
I've order their new wedges but unfortunately no time to pick em up yet from HK as I'm super busy traveling this time if the year. Great to know they works great. When I saw the pictures T took, I knew they were special. Now I wish I've order more than two heads lol
Ian-500
Anyone tried the WMF-06 wedges? Muira's wedges look great.
idrive
What exactly appealed to you about them in particular? How do they compare with the Golds? (I think you have golds) I think the attempt to do something a little different (shape). You know it's a quality club... and that Miura was willing to bend them before shipping. If I'd have bent these there would be some pretty good marks on the sole and perhaps the hosel as well. You can't tell these have been touched. And, I'm a big fan of heads only. shipping is much less and I can use the shaft I want. The Gold's wedges I have are a bit different than what T has just blogged. Mine are 5 yrs old now. Mine are great but the new ones are even better. When you say custom lofts meaning they wil specially make a say 54 instead of taking a stock 57 and bending it to 54? All the new lofts and bounce for JDM wedges don;t seem to be what I want which is why my wedges are still the older models. No, The heads come standard in a 57* loft with 9* of bounce or 52* loft with 7* of loft They still say 52 - 57 but the 52 bent to 53 ends up with 8* bounce, the 57 bent to 58 ends up with 10* bounce = perfect for me. bogeydog
I ordered the 57 at 2 degrees flat. I also ordered the 52 bent to 51. This lowers the bounce by 1 degree. I use the 51 typically from a tight lie and the 57 from longer grass around the green or sand.

Gaijin_Golfer
They are great irons but they arent the end-all, be-all irons that were crafted by the hands of God like some people talk them up to be.

xerobound
Haven't had the chance to play the new Miura stuff, but looks like I have to check it out after hearing all the buzz. The new wedges are looking good.
lousifers
Got this pair today in standard lie/loft. It's pure beauty. Now big problem is finding the right shafts. For high handicapper like me, maybe I move my Machline (70g graphite) to 52' and put NSPro 950 in 57' as DG Spinner may be tad too heavy for me. idrive
That sounds like a pretty good idea if the Machline is working well for you. Personally, I like to put the same shaft in my wedges. But, as you said it is all about what works for you Keep us up to date how these are working for you. :) Quick update, played my 4th round with these today. Weather has turned colder and it was much wetter today. Flawless. I can't get over how much I like these. How well they are working.

Ian-500
Is that a 'baby blade' wedge? Any good compared to your 50* onoff? Edited December 27, 2012 by Ian-
idrive
This is what I've been hitting today That is the "Yoshi" grind Not the same as the new offerings but great wedges. Depending on your swing, course conditions and how you use your wedges, that grind could be better for you.
