chiromikey
there's no real reviews and very few people that have even talked about them? i know kyoei makes some of the best forged irons so i'm surprised there's no real following around here. there was a recent (and overly brief) mention that there will be a new zestaim model coming out this year but nothing about type or when. anyone have any info on their current models, especially their mb/blade version (fi-2)? Vegaman
Seems they get most of their business from doing clubs for other brands, their marketing seems non-existent. Maybe they are content with making some really high quality stuff and then sell however much they sell?
+TourSpecGolfer
Sakamoto who designs Zestaim and is president of Kyoei is a friend of ours. Mochizuki the previous pres. of Kyoei started his own label Vega, then had major money troubles and sold it to a UK company after US distribution attempts failed. This is Sakamoto attempt at the same brand belonging to Kyoei. I actually respect Zestaim more than Vega as I know many of those designs from Vega were supposed to be exclusive to Yururi. The Zestaim Fi-3 is based off of an original mold which I appreciate yet the Fi-1 isn't. I've hit them both a handful of times. Kyoei makes nice feeling stuff but when it comes to the design of these Zestaim irons it doesn't do the forging justice, they should feel softer. The wedges are a bit on the larger side as well so thats preference really but the wedges feel fine.

Prob around march for a new iron. Shooting straight with ya, I would suggest some other brands. What do you like about Zestaim? lets try to find something even better for your game and maybe even your wallet.

When it comes to feel it's more about the design and specs than anything else, If you can put your desire for RAW aside I'd suggest a custom set of Epon's, Romaro or Mizunos. If RAW is a must have I think Yururi & Kyoei's are your best bet.
chiromikey
well, i have yururis and epons and i'm not excited enough about the mizunos. so that leaves romaro or zestaims...unless something else comes up on the radar screen. From my ongoing great experience with the RomaRo H, I would humbly suggest RomaRo as a good bet.
