bogeydog
What is going on with them? At one time, they were producing some pretty hot shafts. While others have had 10 or more new releases, Roddio has had maybe 2. They are awesome manufacturers of shafts and it would be cool to see them release something. Will find out next month, 1 year ago they were on the verge of releasing something great. That hasn't come yet although I still think the I-10 iron shaft is fantastic. It seems they are only producing one off's for their tour pro's at the moment.
Ian-500
Good to hear that the i10's are fantastic :)
wmclarenf1
The Roddio shafts were great but sensitive to spinning I found and it was not as simple as putting the silver half facing up or down. I am finding out now that Crazy and Quadra despite what they (or rather Quadra may say) are spine sensitive as well even with the higher bass, modulus carbon stuff. Roddio is sensitive to tipping it's done in mm based on your desired CPM. It's not your normal shaft when it comes to installation. Also each shaft has different mm tipping instructions. In regards to Crazy shaft's and spine. Logo up and down that's it. I'm interested to what hear what your noticing with the Crazies. I'm not sure what Quadra says... perhaps T can chime in here. RIduffer
I know for my Crazy CBI the logo up/down was not 100% accurate. The spine mark, or what we assumed to be the spine mark, was off by a little <30* usually but off... It could just be that that kind of variance, with high modulus carbon, has a negligible to minimal impact so a logo up/down is sufficient for many except the supremely OCD of us... gocchin
I don't know about the Crazy iron shafts but their driver shafts have the spine marked and Crazy then applies the graphics with the logo aligned with the Spine and the specs down. They suggest logo (spine) up to keep it out of the swing path so the high modulus carbon can do its work and the spine prevents the shaft from bowing downwards. Crazy's shaft master told me this himself at the factory.
gocchin
By the way Roddio shafts are due for March, I am sorry I thought I had mentioned that when I posted about the ONOFF launch event last year.

Quadra told me either log up or down but I can tell you like what RI says, the spine is not always logo up or down. Close to it but not always. I'm not referring to the different philosophies of how and where to put the spine as there are differing views one which T mentioned which I believe is to prevent toe droop. but where the spine is actually located . gocchin
I have no idea about Quadra but that is the way it works with Crazy driver shafts and for Crazy where the spine is placed is related to the how they mark the shaft as its designed to go logo up due to the spine placement. wmclarenf1
I'll spine the new TJ46 I have coming in from you and see how that goes.
RIduffer
I'm inclined to agree with myself that they are close but not spot on, at least to my builder's finding of the spine. Is it possible the graphics impact the alignment a little???
