+TourSpecGolfer
I've been playing the Ryoma Special Tune + Crazy Mofo ( CB-46 ) for some time now and decided to test out a new driver the AF-103 shafted with the new Diamana B-Series in stiff. I'll post some pics in a few days but my initial impressions after 3 full rounds and a little bit of range time is very positive. The feel is the biggest improvement over the AF-102, when hit on the screws it's got a little bit of that 460ZR feel to it the two are definitely related. No complaints in the looks department it hides its 460cc size well and sets up square or at least the one I have did. The ball flight seems a little higher than the 102 I hit some time back. It was hard to judge distance against my Ryoma as the shafts are different and the Ryoma is high cor. The 103 can hold it's own and the B-Series feels good, it's stable yet you can feel a slight load and unload of the shaft. I'll be posting more info as the rounds go on. I'm temporarily putting the Ryoma on the shelf... not selling it just benching her in the sake of testing the AF-103. I've been awfully loyal to the Ryoma it's time I give some other drivers some air time. more to come...
Spoon
I love the103! Not much talk about it here aside from idrive's stellar rview Defintely my favorite epon to date. A lot lot more friendly than the zero With similar feel.
boycer11
Nice review. You need to take them both to the course and see how they play against each other. I would imagine that the Ryoma is more forgiving?

+TourSpecGolfer
right and the Epon feels less hollow and softer on center strikes. The Ryoma is more forgiving no doubt and absolutely insanely hot off the face in the ST model.
corky3
103 continues to impress by being a reliable but performing ina non flashy way. Feel, looks and sound are definately an incremental improvement over the 102..... solidly in th ebag for 2013.
Baddmnkey
Just got back from the range. We had some really weird warm weather so off to the range I went. Finally put the 103/Noir CB80LS thru its paces and Im really impressed. Previously had it shafted with a Diamana Stinger and just wasnt feeling it. Maybe my swing was blah when the stinger was in but it was on today. Feel/sound is exemplar. Distance was better then average but just the overall look and balance really impressed me. It definitely hides the 460cc well. Well done Epon, the 103 is a keeper.
