That is disappointing from my perspective. They have had my shafts since the end of February...

well that's more than enough time to misplace a shaft! ;-p

Can I get the same deal as you are offering on the dgs200 shafts?

My loss, but I'm gonna pass on the S300s too.

How good are the '13Yams?

excellent. they spin wel, plenty of grooves, thin sole. thinner all round

veyr versatile.

im liking them a lot not too dissimilar to the vokeys to be honest.

Second hand info but I heard they're pretty big with quite a bit of offset.

Heard the same as well Jay. Not really what I was hoping for but maybe this new design could help mid to higher cappers? They do look interesting though!

Given the image in the first post, with the ball in position. The head does not appear overly large, nor does it seem to have much offset. Unless that is only a prototype and the final product differs significantly, there was some photography trick with lighting or angles, or the ball in the image is larger than a standard golf ball. Would love to see in-hand photos showing the offset and size compared to other wedges.

It's smaller than the vokey forged and epon wedges. Offset you can see for yourself below. These are not geared to mid/high handicappers at all with it's high CG and trailing edge grind.

The higher lofts have next to no offset while the lower lofts have a touch but we have the FP #'s its nothing out of the ordinary for a players wedge.

BTW.... all standard orders ship today from Japan!

no sh*t man, this is getting seriously tiresome.

The only reason I didn't give up and cancel a couple weeks ago is that this is my first new club purchase from TSG, ever. Just wanted to get one under my belt, so that I could turn around and sell something on BST "as new" if I didn't like it.

ok chaps.............. this doesnt happen very often. in fact... i cant remeber him saying this at all..,

i just came form my clubbuilders where i was picking up a cpl of refurbed putters.

he was shafting up a set of these exact s-yard wedges as i walked in.

my guy does a LOT of clubs... i dont klnow how many other guys do. but. im pretty sure my guy prob. does more JDM builds than .well......... anyone really.

hes in the midlde of tokyo in golf central shinabshi working for a small local clubmaker/designer.

but he does EVERYONE elses clubs as well.

hes prob seen everything JDM made over the last 15 years

the convo went l something ike this..........

" ahhh stew-san, come in... look here, u know these wedges ?

yep.

honto ni. ... sugoi ichiban .. sugoi quality desho..... ( translation.. : really, really these are the top quality wedges for sure!)

u will love these these are the best wedegs ive seen. u must try soon

really..., i reply.... they are brand new. what are ur thoughts.

neve rseen anything like them. amazing he says.

well i think u will love them. amazing!

so. not that anyone that doesnt know him cares , but if he says this to me.. and he knows/builds what i have. which is .substantial in anyones language...

then i gotta say. t

his is quite the HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGE wrap.

just for ur guide....

monacco X were going in them.

and he says this would be close to the perfect build hes ever done.

so........,after a little consternation about thier size and F/P. and after a good look.

they are at least the same size as the epon 210 and vokey to my eye..

these arnt small nor compact to me.

after this little convo.

im all in!

the milling on them looks sensational.

i got to give them good finger as well.

they are "interesting" looking not what i like to see normally i like pear shaped small thin compactness. ,like the new yamahas or the ol marus even thos they do have a full sole.. the head itself is small. in compariosn thee are bigger but the sole on them is very thin.

after the response i got from my "old mate." , then i gotta think indeed these might just be a special little piece.

the proof tho is in the pudding !!!!
