Posted February 28, 201311 yr Not sure where to post this so here is as good as anywhere. What makes a ladies driver a ladies driver? Apart from the shaft, which is given, if I put my Diamana X, into the SYard ladies model, what results would I get? Are they more forgiving? Easier to use? Lomger? Why ladies only? Early in morning in UK and bored.

March 1, 201311 yr I would say a ladies club is determined by who is using it...after my range session yesterday I think all my clubs were ladies clubs.

March 2, 201311 yr Lots of differences especially in the heads shape which is always more shallow, the head weights are lighter and the internal weighting also because the swing speeds are slower the materials are thinner so we shouldn't try to smash our wifes driver as it may cave the face. Women who swing hard do best with lighter mens drivers. I know a few gals that play the Ryoma Premia including my wife.
March 2, 201311 yr The ladies drivers are kind of like premium junior clubs. I know a bunch girls playing college and LPGA and most of them play standard mens clubs. The lighter and thinner design usually will work against faster swings.
