Posted June 1, 201311 yr comment_208670 Today I played these irons after buying them through TSGs recent sale. I shafted them with NSPRO950s I had laying around. Wow I am so surprised or maybe not. Excellent shape. Smallish head, nice reasonable top line. Simple design almost similar to the AF302. Feel is perfect. Forgiveness is wonderful. Ball just shoots off the face. Dare I say better than the OnOff Forged. Similar in softness, but a better more positive feel. I think not quite as long from heel to toe. Less offset. In fact almost none. Best iron buy that I can recall. Stellar. I am happy.
June 1, 201311 yr comment_208671 Was going to buy a set, but unusually didn't get any response mid-correspondence about getting them. Now probably will go for something else for my next CB's
June 1, 201311 yr comment_208672 I wish I could have tried the s yard irons, a great buy from TSG, unfortunately I was a day late! :(
June 1, 201311 yr comment_208683 I purchased these irons as well and have shafted them with Modus 3 and Nowon ichii grips. Only have used them on the range but am really impressed with the set-up and feel. Great looking club will take some time to get the most out of the head.
June 1, 201311 yr comment_208686 trying my 6 iron tomorrow with dgx100.. it looks very god ,surrsingly smaller off set than i expected
June 1, 201311 yr comment_208691 Waiting for mine in customs :(. Now to find shafts, driver, wedges...
June 1, 201311 yr comment_208697 Yup. My 6 and 8 iron went in for shafting. Once the experiment is over will either sell the heads or use as the basis for a guest bag...
June 2, 201311 yr comment_208701 I've got no reason to doubt these are excellent heads if they're essentially a 302. If these appeal to you at address I'm not sure there's anything better in the world in terms of feel and playability. You can get away with some s**t swings with these but still get blade like feel on good shots. They must be a little less offset than a 302 which was an issue for me with them which is good.
June 2, 201311 yr comment_208721 Damn good. seriously very happy with it The x100 suited these so well flight wasnt as high as i expected and its a real easy strike Top line looks grat small off set is very nice and thinish sole is easy to hit on very tight lies Yea ill be shafting the rest of the set and playing them and the x100s are going in

What's old is new again!
June 3, 201311 yr comment_208739 not thru any real choice, it just seems a cpl of sets ive had have , recently had these in them. and well they still fele like shiiiiiiiiiiiit , u cant fault thier playability right? in the sotfer heads i wil admit they do go quite well, they dont hold a candle to the monaocs tho (for me) but well if it aint broke.....!
June 5, 201311 yr comment_208875 Could that be because many JDM players irons come stock with X100's?
June 6, 201311 yr comment_208929 dont really see too many with anything but DG s200... or modus 3 120s.. the tourstage 909s had t x-100s in them and i took the shafts outta those, used them for these heads. getting X100 has to be an upgrade option. the x-100 just do the right thing . cant fault them apart from being so damn dull.
June 6, 201311 yr comment_208957 ditto dont think you can get a better shaft for its price plus they proper heavy. the x-100 just do the right thing . cant fault them apart from being so damn dull.
June 6, 201311 yr comment_208959 Picked up my 6 and 8 iron this afternoon will give them a run tom morning. Shafted them up with the 125g UST IS shaft
