Posted June 8, 201311 yr Apart from whats available n Crazy's site: http://www.crazy-shaft.com/products/head/iron/index.html I recall Crazy had another player like CB in the past with the Crazy Wings logo stamped on the back iirc. Anyone know which iron model that is and who forged it for them? The current line up of Crazy CBs ain't that appealing to me. Thanks.
June 9, 201311 yr hmmmm. geotec had a head several years ago that was identical looking to this Crazy head. TSG used to carry it. must have been at least 4 years ago. not sure what the model name was though. so i'm not sure if it's an open head design, as i've seen the same head with another name on it over the years as well. i'm sure others here can offer something as well.
June 9, 201311 yr Despite the sole-grind it looks a lot like the Kenmochi 901... name similarities included Crazy 901.v2?
June 9, 201311 yr That head is open model, not available any longer as well. Prob the best shaped version any company has made using this one.

C, if you have an old stock pic if it, can you post it? There are several CB options over the years so I'm not sure everyone is in the same page. Thanks
June 10, 201311 yr Chris is referring to the 9012 irons and the Kenmochi 901. Those are the open model heads that Geotech used a long time ago and has been very popular with other golf club brands that use open model heads as well. Arthur, is that what you want to see the original EK from geotech 7 years ago?
June 10, 201311 yr Author Thanks for this T. I don't think this is it. I recall there was a CB model with a crazy tribal wing logo at the back similar to the MB. Edited June 10, 201311 yr by wmclarenf1
June 10, 201311 yr Author A, their first CB was this one here. Thanks T. I think this is it. What is the model name and who forged it? Any other detailed specs and info on kind of steel? I think this mal have a slim slot in the cavity?
June 10, 201311 yr Thanks T. I think this is it. What is the model name and who forged it? Any other detailed specs and info on kind of steel? I think this mal have a slim slot in the cavity? Thats right, it has the thin slit/pocket in the cavity. It as minimal offset and quite a thin topline and sole. Kyoei Forged S25C, simply named Crazy Iron Prototype. Snapped a few pics:
June 10, 201311 yr Author Thanks again T. Is this the only CB with the crazy winged logo behind? Also, have you got a shot if the cavity? I guess this is more a game improvement as opposed to a players CB?
June 10, 201311 yr They look similar in design to the Bridgestone J38 and J40 dual pocket cavity. These Crazies look cooler though :)
June 10, 201311 yr Thanks again T. Is this the only CB with the crazy winged logo behind? Also, have you got a shot if the cavity? I guess this is more a game improvement as opposed to a players CB? Not really game improvement. Smaller size, less offset. The 9012 is their game improvement iron. This is still for the better ball striker.
June 10, 201311 yr Author Thanks again T! Not that I am a better striker of the ball but these do look interesting. Not sure what I'll so with them if they are still available as I still love the RomaRo H and the SDJs CFi are coming good.
June 13, 201311 yr Author T. For your 5i sole pic. It looks like there is leading edge relief. Is this the case?
