Kobayashi-san had originally designed the Bold believing that a raw finish would create the most bite and spin.

However due to consumer demand and their dislike of rusted wedges.

Kobayashi-san has decided to have S-Yard release a few limited 52 and 58* plated Bold Wedges with Tour Issue S200 (Japan market).

Heads are 3-4 grams heavier than the raw models thanks to the plating and custom builds will be available with any shaft.

We are looking at Mid Oct as supply is low.

Did anyone ever grab plated BOLDs? How did they perform? Are they still available?

I almost bought the 58 plated on my last Japan trip. Forgot my Credit card in the hotel safe and didn't have enough cash on me! Found both shafted and head only

I just requested a stock check from SYD on this. I'm guessing they are sold out.

They are not sold out we have 5 x 52 and 5 x 58 coming next month.
