Posted October 15, 201311 yr http://www.tourstage...de_limited.html Woulda saved me a lot of money! Might have to see about getting it anyway. Anybody else interested? Looks like the ultimate combo set . Edited October 15, 201311 yr by Miuramaniac
October 16, 201311 yr I wonder how many of us play a 3 iron anymore? or even a 4 iron. As far as a blended set goes there is no doubt that this would be hard to beat.
October 16, 201311 yr Looks like they took a page out of Cobra's book. Their "Flow Set" is a pretty good set-up. Cobra even went overboard on the stamping...maybe to entice some jdm'ers! lol
October 16, 201311 yr Nice. Only thing is TourStage (and Yammy) is too common here. They're great clubs but I prefer something more boutique :-)
October 16, 201311 yr Although the blades should at least go up to the 8-iron..Otherwise good looking set
October 16, 201311 yr I didn't even know it was coming out but it seems Tourstage is following suit with Srixon which released Limited edition Z725 driver and Z irons as well. Yes only 9 and PW in the blades, the MC or CB in 3456 and blades in 789PW would have been good.
October 16, 201311 yr Nice. I don't 'spose there's any top line views or spec sheets around yet? Spec sheet is in the link in the first post. Top lines are in each listing.... these are not new irons, just a limited release where they decided to make a combo. There are also live photos of the irons in the gallery: http://www.tourspecg...r__DESC__st__48
October 16, 201311 yr Author Looks like the only differences are the black finish they're using for these and the three little kinked lines in the cavity or back of all three that ties them together better and the TS stamping on the sole. I like the first two, but wish they woulda just put Tourstage on the back of the hosel or something.
October 18, 201311 yr The finish is what they call black chrome. Yes they changed the lines in the cavity so that all 3 would match as you said. Yea I don't like the TS on the sole... even the sole looks messy with that and the number and forged.
October 19, 201311 yr Very cool. I have to say, the Tourstage MC709s are the best overall irons I've ever played. Just awesome, IMO. Can't wait to see what they have for 2014. Time to snag one of their drivers, I think
October 28, 201311 yr I like the blades, not so sure about the CBs and the combo. But still worth giving them a try
