supo
as most know... i love the tourstage marus . so ill always cast an intereted eye on anything wedge wise, tourstage puts out. the last cpl of wedges have been good without standing out in any way to me, ive been left a litttle underwhelmed but the 2013 forged wedge .............. immediatly caught my eye....... and wallett..! these are absolutely delish.......... i think these might be the nicest impact wedge ive EVER hit, and those that know what ive got, , prob know thats a bold staement indeed.. yamaha forged, epon kgx, vokey forged, a host of small named ones. syard.................. marus...! they all fall into second place, bec these take the cake. i hit them with the stock dg200 adn they were great then moved the NS protos st X into them nad they are now on a differnnt cloud completlely. they are VERY pear shaped. maybe close to the most ive seen, a lot more rounded all over, kind of reminscent of the yururi 1.618 shape. but with a LOT more substance and volume to them than the yururi. (but no where near the spin.) they have a thicker top line and a small compact head which. is prob how they get their incredible feel. the sole is a very intereting.......... its a kind of wedge shape flared more at the toe than the heel. to make opening it up easy and sliding under the ball more versatile. it does this very well indeed, from tight lies its extremely good to get under and to pop the ball up. the bounce on my 52 adn 56 is 8 and 10. hardly high nor low bounce. somewhere in between . my other gamers are the bolds at 10 and 14 nad the marus 5 and 8. so these are just dead set jack of all trades. performance............ well thsi is were they get thumbs up and down. firstly spin. harldy fear inducing. on full shots they are good. c i an make them sing, but i can on pretty much all wedges on full shots. but these wont back up off the green ala yururi. they are more like the 2011 yamaha i think.., give them enough adn they will go for sure ,,but ur prob not going to be pulling bits of ur ball out of the grooves. the 52 ive found to be as close to my perfect shoot at the pin wedge of all time. , ive only gamed these twice. and it will be a tough brave call for me already to take this one out.. when u just get on with something , when it clicks, well u gotta run with it. i have supreme confidence with it, clipping from green edge runnign it up. to full 105 ayrd shots, i just love it. it suits perfectly. the 56 i s a bit ....... interesting.................. bec its thicker it isnt quite as dynamic as others. it doesnt spin as much and its not as versatile. but even tho it doent do antyhing better than my others all round it just does it s job with aplomb. ive had no isssues at all with it . but its not THE top peformer in any class. but over all it just works perfeclty. from sand . well thisis where im really like it a lot. as said its not the spinniest wedge ive got and bec of that it isnt really great for pop drop shots from close quarters , not that that really matters bec id use the shingo fo that anwyay... but for slightyl longer shots its fantastic... can open it up abd slide her under adn she kind of just pops out adn rolls a bit. again i think ive got better. but for an all purpose set of versatile wedges. in any condition its hard to go past these, especailyly if u like a pear shape and a longer hosel shaped wedge. i cetianly do.. an these will get many a round going forward. for a " ive only got one set of wedges" ill put these right at the top of the list to look hard at. me likey...., a lot ! supo
that the weird thing about these TS wedges , they arnt hard , they come off very soft dense................ like the epon zen. feels............ hard to accuratly describe it perfectly but i was like , what the ???????? this is from tourstage?????? i love it. even with the dgs200 they were "oomphy" they arnt delicate surgical scalpals. they are all rounders. i tell you what i think they feel like..... the yururi tours. but. with a denser (not harder .............,) denser feel. the marus i didnt re weight . i just put tip weights in the x-100 shafts give em abit of ooomph. and weight

supo
Bit more time with these back home over, chrissy Gave them good, time in the bag in comps on very different types of turf hard dry fast stuff Well they certainly didnt let the tourstage name down one iota. Easynto getunder and lob up and the 52 gets its fair anount of zing The60 was particulary easy to lob but it didnt generate the amount of spin i was thinking it might iguess thats down to playing it in rotation with non cor ones tho Im sure ifmi just used these alone they wud be fine best thing about these was the eas in which u can get funky with them, open them up to all kinds of intersting angles and hit a reallyvaried array of shots, i think of all the wedges i used these might have been the most versatile all round the52 is as comfy to pitch20 yards and zing stopmas it is from 100 with a cut hop right. Id def plub for a set of nswv shafts in these or a set of the dg spinners to just give them a bit more life But overall i cud / wud bag these alone for a long time Top stuff these wedges gents
