mauvanilla
Sorry Guys I ve been away a bit because of Wedding arrangements. Big day in about one month time... Anyway, I am now subscribing Even Magazine "for stylish Golf Players " (which is highly recommended). Besides all the fashion stuff, they usually have some interesting stuff on Clubs. This month edition they had a few brands which I have never heard of: 1) Emllid Bahama http://www.e-bahama.com/ 2) GP- Platinum http://www.gp-golf.com/ Not very inspired b design, but seems they have been around for a while very curious on how these smaller Brands actually survive in such competitive space. Maybe C or T could add their wisdom t the topic. Cheers M.
tokidoki1986
Look like that have their original design and identity, would be interesting to hear about their performance too.
gocchin
Both brands are very much boutique brands. We have covered Grand Prix many times at the golf fair... and it is the most bling bling brand in golf. There are pics in our gallery of gold plated and diamond studded irons. Emillid Bahama on the other hand is a brand I have been checking out recently as it is popular with amateurs... we may be carrying it soon. gocchin
I prefer the Emillid. We opened an account so it is officially available now through TSG.
vertigo88
Let's pass on the GP. Unless I am in the army, I wouldn't like fighter jets all over my club head. Also - a lot of loft strengthening on the irons, even the muscle backs.
rb2235
I swapped drivers with Tae in the summer for a week...he sent me his GP Platinum and it was the longest driver I ever hit to only find out it was a non-conforming model. The X1 and X2 are conforming...X3 is not. Felt and sounded great. Darn it.
tae
Lol I was gonna post here but I guess Rich got here first. Anyway, DO NOT OVERLOOK GP GUYS!!!!!! GP x1 was the longest jdm driver I've ever had. After rich and I found out it was nonconforming, I just could not help trying out x3. And I'm glad I did. X3 is as good as x1. Yes.... it looks ugly but it is longer than my maxima, max soul, t388, trpx, p tune, epon 460, crazy, and j beam 425. Krank driver 6* with 47" shaft is as long but it's not jdm and not as forgiving.
