I think ive narrowed my 2014 iron choice to one of the subject irons. Alghough the 1007 are appealing im looking for a solid/soft iron with some nice forgiveness. Seems like the 2007 fit the bill.

Anyone hit these back to back and can comment on overall look, feel, and performance?

The 1007 are terrific not had the chance at the 2007 yet

Not sure if forgiving spring to mind on these tho but as a setof topof bats

I currently have the 2007's they are fantastic irons great feel and look. Slightly more forgiving then the 1007's. Thin top line and forgiveness is a great combo for most of us.

Great irons indeed but Kekoa is looking for something "gushy soft" and neither the 1007 or 2007 fit the bill. The 2007 is a little softer than the 1007 but They are both pure, firm & solid, somewhat soft on center spot shots but not gushy by any measure. If you want solid firm pure then these are killers.

Kekoa, here are some pics for you of the Y-Grinds 1007 & 2007.

Chris is dead on... I just built a set of CB-2007 4-PW with Nippon Modus 3 120S shafts and they are NOT a soft buttery feeling forged club. In fact If you're interested I may sell you mine at a loss. I am in Tampa at the moment and I have 4 rounds played with them and if you want a firm feel at impact these are for you.

They are beautiful clubs but not what I expected feel wise.
