gocchin
Hi Guys, ONOFF finally came through with retail pricing so we can begin ordering the CB358. PLEASE NOTE, THIS SET IS VERY LIMITED. ALL SETS ARE MADE ON ORDER BY LABOSPEC, ONOFF'S TOUR DIVISION WHICH ALSO MAKES ALL ONOFF TOUR PRO CLUBS INCLUDING SHINGO KATAYAMA. It is scheduled for a mid April release but you MUST order now (or as soon as possible). Contact me at [email protected] for special member prices. Below is a reference list for retail prices and specs. Other shafts are available as well ie KBS, Tour AD etc. They are only making 5-PW so no 3 or 4 iron. Shingo likes utilities over long irons. The PW is a 46* wedge specially made for Shingo. Threw in pics of Labospec as well which I took when visiting them. As many of said this could be the iron of the year! RIduffer
So what is the design ethos behind the 46*? Seems more similar to the Forged wedge than the 358...
akapur
Will be eagerly waiting for April to roll around and get these bad boys out on the course.
Duffer19
Aka, who is this girl on your avatar? My score would be sky high if I ever play a round with her.
akapur
Aka, who is this girl on your avatar? My score would be sky high if I ever play a round with her. Duff It is a pic a buddy of mine sent me of a model, taken at a promotional golf event he was at. The idea was that she would make a great golf partner, since you would be least concerned about your score.
Duffer19
If my wife ever finds out that I play golf with someone like that, it would be the end of my golfing life or just life period. : ( thanks for the eye candy as usual. Sorry T for being off track with my post.

Sorry T for being off track with my post. My wife would also take all my clubs and toss them into the trash if she thought this was my regular golf partner. Baddmnkey
So what is the design ethos behind the 46*? Seems more similar to the Forged wedge than the 358... It bugs me that the pw is not more similar to the rest of the set. Not that it bothered me enough to not order a set :) Would definitely like to know the reason behind this as well.... gocchin
Shingo believes a wedge gives him more accuracy and control when attacking the green as he likes using he PW for short approachs as well as pitch and runs. He also believes he can generate more spin with the larger face area of the wedge ie working the ball diagonally across the face. So it made sense to have a wedge rather than a big PW. idrive
T, Do you think the PW wedge design will be offered in "wedges"? 50-52-56-58 etc. Any or all?
gocchin
J, That design is technically available in a 50 and 56 now with the standard ONOFF Forged. Though I have not seen the new CB358 46* in person yet so I can't compare the size.

igotya
Wasn't it 'forged'?Onoff website, why are they saying it is 'casting'? http://onoff.globeride.co.jp/labo/labo-spec-club/cb-358.html
gocchin
The Labospec is forged at Endo just like all ONOFF Forged are. They are currently building sets (and many of them) Labospec is not big and they are handling orders for all of Japan. Those who ordered early should see their sets ship very soon.
