stevopagolf
I like the looks of these a lot. For some reason my inner ho has really been suppressed lately. I have 2010 VG3's that I love. Thought about upgrading to these or 2014 VG3's but I have come to the temporary resolution that it is the guy holding the grip (me) and not the clubs that are holding back a scratch golfer! I am liking what I am hearing about these...
cangolfnut
Any more updates guys? Who has a few rounds in with them now.....
RIduffer
I had another round with them the other day and they felt great. I am able to get good distance from them, longer than either the TS909 or Yururi PDG. Also, they have good stopping power on the greens. Had issues with an unwanted fade and believe it to be too flat, much like the AF-903. So right now they are at the builder getting bent upright. idrive
Had my first round today. Will have another tomorrow and again the next day and will then post my review. I must say they look waaaaaay better than I thought they would. Shape/size is much better imo than the previous models. The 358's are noticeably more compact (compared to 2011 and 13's) and have less offset. Really like the finish as well.
RIduffer
2* more upright now then when I got them. Not fighting the right as much and am getting more middled shots, which feel sublime...
bigrin
first round with these this weekend. Looks: As has been discussed the top line is slightly thicker than I was expecting. But somehow the sharpness of lines, compact shape and how they sit at address felt and looked GOOD in real life. Love the finish and how they sit at address. They're a grower. Performance Genuinely shocked here. Picked up at least a club over my 302's. As mentioned above 7-pw are high launch and explode, 4-6 mid high and really GO. I'm going to say that again - these sticks SHIFT. Forgiveness: This was something I am unused to. Misses are more difficult to get feedback on. And not just at impact - misses I thought I'd be 20yds short were front edge. Think its fair to say in performance the good ones are better than anything else I've hit and the bad ones nowhere near as bad. Not sure what to make of it tbh - have always opted for playing with something that rewards my good ones and I'll take the punishment on my bad swings....seems there is an alternative. Feel: Have used epon for the last decade and this was my first (hesitant) venture away. For me these middled are more of the same but a touch more subtle. This will probably make no sense but here goes - If pureing a 302 is like biting into an apple - for me its like a granny smith. Pureing these is like biting into a golden delicious. Crisp but slightly less firm if that makes any sense. (can see why people struggle to explain this). Beautifully balanced. -ve would be its slightly harder to tell where you've missed. A trade off I guess. These were bought to use during the week where I work away from home - and play less serious golf. Turns out they've knocked the epon's out the bag and I will play (and still enjoy) playing the 302's in the week and when it comes to comps will bag the labospec. I hate that I'm so impressed with how far they go - I thought I'd outgrown that - but they sure do go, they feel awesome, and the biggest surprise is how forgiving these guys are. mpbachman
Counting down the days till I receive my set... Anyone else gaming these? Would love to see a side-by-side pic, say, with the 302s just to compare size/topline. Can't wait, they have to be one of the coolest looking irons I have seen in a long-time... akapur
So Two rounds in this week with these irons. First impressions are that the finish is very nice like others have said more of a bronze color then satin. The feel is just fantastic, on clean strikes the feeling is sublime. Miss hits don't have much feedback but this maybe due to that these irons are more forgiving then I thought they may be. Distance is very nice, much in line with my Miura CB 2007's and slightly shorter then the kamui 101A's. These irons are very very nice. Looking forward to gaming these for the rest of the season. mpbachman
A, very glad reading this review, now I am more than excited to get my set, can't wait to see how they perform (getting them with Modus3 shafts to match my 316s). Dispersion is a little loose but the feel is great.

Interesting you would describe them this way as this is the same "feel" I get with them. And yes, the Roddio's are much better than what I was expecting. Gives the word "smooth" a new meaning. +TourSpecGolfer
Any other updates? I know at least 20-30 sets were sold. I'm still waiting for mine. I had to order with I-9 shafts because I-10's are sold out until June. I was told there is a chance the heads would be gone if I waited for the I-10's in June. Didn't want to risk waiting for the I10's. After my third round with these this weekend noticed I was hitting off the toe end consistently. For all my swing faults I am usually very consistent with hitting in the middle of the face. Not sure why this was happening but needless to say the results were poor. The feel and look of these irons is top notch. Just need to get in the groove with them as far as ball striking goes.

I think a lot of that has to do with how your swing works with the i9's. It's pretty certain that if you installed your normal shafts at your specs these would perform admirably. It sounds like a timing issue due to the graphite shaft. I've only played the i10's in a set of 5003's and the combo was one of my best ever but it has been a while since playing graphite in irons. RIduffer
Ash, Any chance lie angle is off? I had to get mine bent 2* upright. i10s are a great fit, noticing they like a little extra swing lag compared to the PDG heads. Thinking it might be related to head weight. Steve I think the lie might be off.Was thinking of seeing my fitter over the weekend to see how things look on the trackman. The timing may also be off since the I9's are a little lighter then I normally use.
idrive
I have the I-10's in mine. I had the lie angles and SW's checked when I got them mainly because I didn't know what the SW's were. Lie angles checked out perfect (what I ordered) and SW's were spot on. D1 5-9, D2.5 PW. My miss is on the toe side. After about 6-7 rounds I haven't even come close to the toe. So far so good here. Everything I can think to say about this combo is 100% positive.
