+TourSpecGolfer
Didn't really look much into this club but after receiving it miss Kobayashi-san's designs even more. It's a more forgiving type that is only available in a single loft of 10.5 and aims to improve the drives of the mid cap player, based on its setup and face size I don't consider this a higher handicap design. It's got a lot a going for it: - looks compact for a 460 - face angle is not overly closed - the face and head shape is somewhat 388 like - the feel is somewhat 388 like - its very long and feels really nice - has that stable lowish spin flight like the 388 Not the prettiest but I can highly suggest this club after a couple of rounds with it and if you can get past it's funky appearance and don't mind a slightly closed face it can be built for even low handicap players. I enjoyed my time with it so much It's getting a re shaft.
corky3
"It's a more forgiving type that is only available in a single loft of 10.5 and aims to improve the drives of the mid cap player" yet the first picture shows one marked as 9.5. no? I couldn't personally get over the squiggle on the crown.... too distracting, but the rest of the optics all look good and i'm sure it will perform well as all S-Yard products do. Just testing you..lol scratch that part and pardon my error. Yes totally agree it needs a paint job! Kobayashi-san told me the lines promote a draw, I can see that sorta but not sure how much it works in the real.
gian11
This driver really interest me, I don't have any problem with the looks :-). I have the T.388 and also the XV, the T.388 is the best driver for me to date followed by the XV, so I was thinking this model could have been improved much better at least in the forgiveness category? 73montecarlo
I see this is a Hi-Cor model. How did it compare in length to other non-conforming offerings. Particularly the Ryoma ST?
gian11
One thing that concerns me though is the weight. Loft Lie Volume Length Swing Weight Total Weight =========== === ======= ========= =========== ==========Stark 9.5/10.5 59 460cc 46" D0 276/278/280 Anyone knows the weight of the head? +TourSpecGolfer
I'm not sure of the head weight, I would assume light around 190-192ish grams.
