As beautiful as a golf bag can get.

Can't wait to read reviews on the X-Drive 390 Prospec. About to make the purchase but would like to hear feedback first.

I still think the best looking Tourstage CBs ever were the X5000s. I still have a set which I intend to put back into play next time I hit the course.

Tourstage (Bridgestone) have to be the greatest golf manufacturer for their extensive product line and the sheer quality of everything they make. They have a product to satisfy everyone, albeit at a hefty price. Forget the tour TMs blah blah blah and go with Tourstage. They could however do with a better wedge selection IMO.

Recently bought a dozen X-01s but I'm afraid to lose one!

If only the Yen/$ would drop, I'd be a happy man

Double damn , double drool 8O 8) I hope when I get my new bag together I can take some great pic's like that also .

So far all the pic's I've taken have turned out quite crappy . :(

Quad damn, Octet drool! I actually think my bag sucks now. I hate you!!!!

Well if that true dd I would gladly exchange a few clubs with you

I figure you have at least 2 clubs I would take in a heart beat

Very nice Chris! Those X-Blade CB's are looking nicer and nicer. They remind me a lot of the Z101's.

They look very nice to be sure. I'm hanging on to my Z's for some time to come though. I've had more than a couple of those great misses that were either thin or off center and I'm certain I have a lot more work to do only to see myself on the green or just on the fringe.

Those MR-23s are just great looking, though.

Im still getting used to the open face on it. Prior to the 390 i was playing the NV3 & MR23 9.5 and one is .5 closed the other .5 open. My all time favorite driver is the MR23 9.5. The new 390 has the solid feel crackish sound of an X-Drive yet with also the deep hollowness of a larger headed driver. It does NOT feel cheap or weak its 100% Tourstage feel. The pro spec is 1 degree open as is the MR23 8.5 maru version, the prospec sits so beautifully from its address looking slightly open. the size is much smaller than a 510TP. The face of the 390 has full scoring lines different from the non conforming version. I am hitting it longer with this club than my MR23 but not the NV3. I am having problems slicing the ball when i get sloppy but the feel is incredible and it has that soft feel on center hits much like the 300 Tour had. Im able to get most Fujikura, Mitsubishi, and Graphite design shafts factory installed for a good price. Each of these drivers are made per order only the pro spec series is like this. I choose the Graphite W60 because 1. its one of the most expensive and factory installs are usually cheapest. 2. I love the specs as well as the feel of other GD shafts like the M85. I just wish they made an M85 in R flex because that shaft is stout in my opinion. I think all the GD shafts play pretty stiff I suggest the W60,W70 & M85 as well as the blue G. Im very happy with the 390 prospec in its every aspect. I think its for the better golfer with its open face.

They do look really nice. Bet they're quite a bit more forgiving than the 101s. Not that the 101s are not forgiving, those just look 202 forgiving. Sweet sticks.

btw. I've got a 390 ProSpec on the way with the Blue G. I can't wait... :D

I am going to take a guess and say that , DD either has never seen this post or he has decided not to take me up on my offer of exchanging some clubs with me :)

I got to hit both those drivers. One word SWEET!!!!!! For me the X-drive hits long fades. Not wild slices but nice long controlled fades. I compared it to my 510 TP which my tendencies are to hook with this club, the x-drive is just as long or even longer by a couple of yards. The MR23 9.5 is the best driver I have ever hit in my opinon. Distance is good, the feel is incrediable, very controllable for me. If that was my girlfriends driver it would never be in her bag. Just my opinon on these clubs. Thanks Chris for letting my try them.

Maloha,

Bobby
