+TourSpecGolfer
Yes my ATTAS is Japanese! It's made in Japan, it's the most high end ATTAS, the other UST products are made in Bangladesh for the most part. Your pic shows the GEN 1, there is also a GEN 2. freehb04
Anxiously anticipating your review stu, I have been a fan of the Attas line for quite a while. Unique and quality products...loved the Attas 2, the 3 was tops (what a punch...very lively), the 4u was a great all around performer but got concerned when I tried the 5gogo...not the same quality as the others IMO...glad to see they have an über premium offering. supo
Ok i gave it a good going over today Ivegot an identical club with a stinger in it. so ive got a good compairson While its not as strong as the boron shaft by a considerable way Its much eaier to hit, much easier to work a bit And its got a really nice flight ,kind of like a plane taking off very low then itclimbs ,peaks and falls over its really quite a good thing to look at Hit a cplof screamers with it onto par 5s the ball sat beautifully Yea i like it Its a bit thinin the feel atimpact. Doesnt have that really electric feel to it which was a. Bit dissapoiting esp for the price of them But results were excellent Its a gen1 Cant fault t to be honest Illgive it another go tomorrow against the stinger head to head. On course to see exactly where it is But after today Not prob saying its ok yea its fine
freehb04
Should be a perfect fit for my slopswing...the only shaft in the line that had decent feel was the 3....but...everyone of them performed....
supo
ok 2 days with this. absolutely no issue what so ever wit it its in an s-yard 18*- 5w 339 gram hit plenty of balls, its not as high as the diamana B i have in another one . its a differnt kinda fish. bit more ballisitc flight not sure what i prefer both go well so its a bit harder to get to it sit compared to the B shaft but for distance with a bit of roll its much better . feel is good ,i hit it a lot more yesterday . and i warmed a bit more to it. didnt hit it from a tee. vs the stinger its almost a differnt club , no real similarities stinger is far too strong . almost like a driver repalcement!! prefer the attas from the deck in great conditions its a winner
supo
ok.another session on course vs my stinger . same head slightyly heaver set up with the stinger. the extra weight made my swing my smoother, but a bit slower , tempo was much better, theres about 6-7 gram differnce but i cud feel the head better with the diamana. its a slightyl differnt swing weight. not sure exactly i cant remember the exact specs. impact was cleaner with the diamana. and a more tiiiiiiiiiingy feel. im very used to that club its my gamer week in / out. tough to repalce it , almost impossible to repalce. the attas was lower in flight by a pretty big margin actually . i was very surprised. the atttas is a bit flippier, a bit whippier, and not in a negative/bad way. its just not what i was used to. and when i hit them side by side it was pretty evident. distance was splitting hairs. but the attas might have got it overall bec its lighter and easier to hit but the stinger is 100% accuracy this culb is more about a flight issue. the higher stinger is much better suited to condition up here, right now. the attas wud be a beauty when it gets a bit colder i think get added run to the greens the stinger is straight up up and away the attas has a really nice aeroplane take off look to it. depends on what u like i gues. but the heavier diamana prob gets my vote , and itll be in the bag htis wekeend for the final!
