+TourSpecGolfer
When it comes to tech & performance PRGR has it down. They don't fool around. Egg1 Driver performance wise is one of the best of the year, low spin, mid trajectory, no balloon, loooong! I've got all the new PRGR gear and just had a range day yesterday, it's all better than almost everything around, a little funky no doubt but I'm afraid peeps are missing out on dare I say the best stuff around. Here is the UT, with the proper shaft it's simply one of the best. How's 6* open face angle sound???
needmoregolf
Size-wise, how would it compare to say Romaro Type R ut and the Modart ut?
nobmontana
I agree Egg 1 is a great driver. However, I do need something with a bit more weight. If that head was 200g+ I would keep it in my bag. I do believe the Egg Impact is hefty at 205g but they only do 10.5deg. What I want to see is a Egg 1 HD 7.5deg 205g with the same forgiveness as the regular Egg 1 Can you please put in an enhancement request to PRGR? :)
+TourSpecGolfer
We do have a meeting with them this year, big brands usually don't listen though. I would like to see an Egg Spoon that is based on the original or 2nd gen's shape. I would like to see cleaner aesthetics, hide the tech but market it. I would like to see them offer a weight kit and better aftermarket shaft options I would like to see them sell adapters only, heck every brand needs to offer adapters direct. Size-wise, how would it compare to say Romaro Type R ut and the Modart ut? It's not as stable as the Modart, it is longer, it's more wild, it doesn't feel as good, just different. RomaRo is in between the two, stable, feels nice, easy to get up. I think less pop ups with the PRGR. What I don't know is if PRGR plans to have the RS series as their players line, I hope not, it's great mid capper gear no doubt and with the right shaft it can be outstanding for the athlete but they need a blade or iDBL type driver to go along with the Egg1. bk24bk
I think that hybrid looks great. Kind of like the JBeam fairway woods 6* open seems odd, however.
Vegaman
I think that hybrid looks great. Kind of like the JBeam fairway woods 6* open seems odd, however. A lot of people tend to hook their hybrids, compared to their long irons. it's a very common complaint even. The open face here should fix that
driverhead
I think that hybrid looks great. Kind of like the JBeam fairway woods 6* open seems odd, however. The 1st thing I thought of when reading that was VJ SINGH's 9 degree open steelhead 9w.
Adizero
Never have seen that in practice. I have played with hundreds of golfers, hooking the ball is a rarity. Low runners or weak slices IME.
