Breal
I hit the X-01s and its the best ball i have hit to date, until the new 05 Pro V's come out we will see. I will do a comparison.
wmclarenf1
I play the X-01 depending on the course I'm on (with softer greens). It's a good ball, long and feels good. Very durable compared to Callaways which is the other ball I play (HX Blue) for firmer greens.
MGB
They both play a bit firm, with a pronnounced 'click' off the clubface. This is not a bad thing as far as I'm concerned. It actually helps me with my putting by giving me a lot of feedback for better distance control.
xxio
I play the X01, X01s and <UX-s> exclusively. You can search for my reviews. What would you like to know about these ball other than the fact they are expensive?

How is this compared to the X-01 in terms of distance, trajectory, spin, driver, iron, wind etc. I hear it is a softer ball as well.
+TourSpecGolfer
X01 vs ProV1x The X01 is shorter IMO but feels much better around the greens. I prefer the Provx with the driver and so does my wallet. If I had my choice i would play the X01 & HXTour all day. Does anyone know when that black Nike ball is coming out? jaybit
isnt there only one black nike ball out of a dozen nike one black box. If you want a dozen of them i guess you have to buy 12 boxes.

How is this compared to the X-01 in terms of distance, trajectory, spin, driver, iron, wind etc. I hear it is a softer ball as well. I have never found the X01/X01s balls as "soft". They feel towards the precept feel in the ball spectrum. I prefer firmer feeling balls like the U Tri Tour, original Stata Ace, Precept Tour Premium, etc. I don't play the ProV1 in any models because the feel mushy/good on every shot even bad ones. This is the strange part. I read from others that the X01s spins more. I find the exact opposite. I find the X01 spins more for me. In fact I would say the X01s would be the ProV1 X and the X01 would be the ProV1. I would have expected different since I would suppose the s in the X01s would be for "spin". Maybe I don't have the SS? Distance in terms of carry generally the same, X01s maybe a little less but that could be because it seems to fly a little lower. Where it actually lands seems to be a 5 yard difference. Trajectory X01s is lower> When I catch both solid on my driver I find the X01s maybe 15 feet lower at its apex vs the X01. Harder fairways and wind would definitely favor the X01s. I have been playing the X01 over the X01s almost exclusively for a month and a half now trying to get consistent for tournament season. I'll do a side by side tomorrow and PM you a more recent side by side.
