Mjr. D
Chris, how is the forgiveness on these two drivers? I'm seriously considering the black-out, the 535, the PRGR Nabla adjustable except it's only 9.5 and I need 8.5 or the new Modart Adjustable. I'm looking for straight drives so forgiveness and low spin more than anything else. What do you suggest out of these?

I'm looking for straight drives so forgiveness and low spin more than anything else. What do you suggest out of these? The 435 is the same as always, good to note It's not actually 435cc's it's actually 448cc's. Some say it's not forgiving I always thought it was fairly forgiving. The ZY-11 seems very forgiving I think it's the big face but also the high launch adds to that perception as well. If you want low trajectory go with the blackout, if you want high launch go with the ZY-11 or because it's Jbeam you can go low loft in high launch to help you kill even more spin or high loft in the black out to get the ball up easy for more carry. RLL I think went 11* blackout and says its pretty darn good. Oh yes one more thing, someone was saying they use a thicker face for long drive clubs I was at Jbeam talking to the designer and he says all conforming Jbeam drivers have the exact same face thickness and durability to handle 60ms 134mph. I've hit the Krank it's got a very hard face. Thanks Chris, so where does the JBeam 535 fit into the mix then? 535 has a mid spin/mid launch while the Glorious is mid spin/high launch. Mjr. D
Chris would you say this, the Egg 1, the Nabla, Modart Adjustable or the new Honma is best suited for my needs? Straight/forgiving, low spin?
Shankopotamus
535 has a mid spin/mid launch while the Glorious is mid spin/high launch. Hmm. might have to pick up a 535 for them windy days.

Mjr. D
How come some 435 Blacks have red paint and some white?
Jeffrey Tan
Chris, I was getting the ideal launch ie mid launch and fairly low spin with the J beam bm435 in a 9.5deg. What loft would you choose in the JBeam 435 Blackout to get a similar launch characteristics? 10deg?? I just loved the window the original Jbeam was coming out of...
