Picked this up a few months ago. It was in rough shape. The copper was chipping off and there were many dings in the head. Had it refinished. It now has a copper underlay and a new finish. The head weight was increased to 369grams and a Shimada shaft added with an Iomic grip.

Stew that is the truth. This is a very soft feeling putter that has great balance. Glad I had it redone

That looks amazing Ash. Is that a half shaft offset?

Subtle elegance, Ash. Bet it rolls nice. Enjoy!

Gold's refinish?

Yes.

There is just something about the finish on Yamada putters that have been to Golds.

I really like them, the HM's as well, especially the older ones

What was the head weight before the refurnished?

It was 359grams

Craig you are exactly correct. Yamada's refinished by gold's are as close to perfect as you can come. This one has a copper underlay and so is soft as butter and rolls great. The finish is slick and the craftsmanship great.

Happy with my new toy!

Not perfect, but she rolls well!!

that is super sweet RS! congrats!

Here is mine, arrived today. Emperor II burning copper 4D milled..

Schweet!!

His newer putters have a much deeper and wider milling I see.

Had a few putts with it tonight, balance is perfect and feel is nice, not too soft just right. Not a big fan of the thicker topline, I'll see how it goes this weekend.

thing of beauty..!!!

thicker top lines are becoming a thing now days, almost necessary if you need a heavy head as it's the best and almost the only place to get the weight up on an anser design while performance wise it makes the ball roll straighter or the putter more forgiving.

Thicker topline also provides softer feel.

He has one feedback rating on eBay. That is very risky.
