Platinum is lighter & stiffer with full length Toray 1100G , use for longer driver length. high launch. Onyx is for swingers who want to maximize loading the shaft. uses air speeder technology on top of full length 90T. low-mid launch Both are considered distance oriented shafts but very different style.
