Ian-500
Let's cut to the chase. All things being equal, i.e. same loft, same face angle and same shaft and playing length - please use a shaft that you're very familiar with and tell us which shaft that is - how would you expect each of the listed jBEAM heads to react regarding ball flight. I'll leave 'feel' and 'distance' out of this for now because I like the feel of the ones I've tried and we all know that these are some of the longest heads ever. If you've never gamed or hit some/any of these drivers, please use what you've read about them as your guide. 425 Tour 435 435II 435R 435Black 445HG 535 Glorious ZY-11 For me, using a Diamana Blueboard 73s at 44 1/2", I'd expect this; In order of lowest ball flight first. 435 & 445HG, very low 425 Tour, low 435Black, low to mid 435II, mid 435R, mid ZY-11, mid to high 535, mid to high Glorious, high What say you??? Ian-500
Thanks for your input Stew. A Stinger is exactly what I was thinking of using............
Vegaman
I haven't tried it, but i get the feeling the 435R was/is kind of a dud? Very much under the radar, which is weird (if it's good) since it's a newer more recent design than the 425, 445HG and the 435 version 1 and 2? It's almost like most people think we went straight from the 435II to the 535 and Glorious with nothing being released between
jbird902
I have a crazy boron at 44.5 in a 535. Accurate and long!

I was very inconsistent with it and it wasn't longer than anything else, but it was probably the wrong shaft (Quadra Red Tour) which just didn't suit me at all. 1 or 2 on the forum have spoken highly about it but really nothing like how the original has been/still is talked about.........
