I recently played the Ping G30 Driver and really liked the shape of the head especially the sloping back of the club (I know there is a term for that). It just seemed to set up much better for me. Just curious if there are any Japan Drivers on the market that have the similar look to the G30? Thanks.

I've thought the Baldos have reminded me of Ping.

I play the g30 now, and I always thought the evolution of the head from the g20, g25 to g30 was reminiscent of ryoma d1 with the little tail/weight pod towards the rear sole.

G30 and PRGR Egg 1 both have elongated crowns and are high MOI forgiving heads.

head shape seen from above may be in a similar league but head weights are completely opposite.

207g or something on the G30 and 190g or less on the PRGR Egg 1 both designed for longer shafts in mind.

but I liked them both as they both do a great job at getting the ball far out there!

The G30 crown slopes way down in the back which I seem to like and looks aesthetically pleasing to me. Looking for a similar driver head.

Not sure if this is a fair comparison cause they are slightly different angles,

but the Romaro Ray Alpha does seem to have this shallow back profile.

Looks a little similar but hard to tell by the angles. I assume the top picture is the G30. Are there others on the market? Thanks.

I think you might find a couple heads with similar angles but visually I don't think anything JDM looks as large as the Ping.

I agree with Mikey. G30 is as big as it gets within conforming heads.

I remembered the prgr Seven was similar...really stretched front to back.
