August 20, 20159 yr Author About a year ago I was considering of picking up the FCB but just don't know how I would like it being never putt with a 38" before. you can cut it down to about 36.5" That was the range offered by Bettinardi and still considered counterbalanced.....i had it set at max length and figured that i would decide where i like my hands and then cut it down accordingly......
August 20, 20159 yr Is it possible making a 35" putter with the FCB? Or will the swingweight get screwed? Im thinking a 135g shaft and a mid-size grip.
August 20, 20159 yr Author yes its possible...its going to be heavy headed like the piretti but if u put a counterweight in the butt you can even out the swing weight......just rmbr that the head weighs about an oz heavier than normal and your counter may be an oz as well....so its a total 2 oz total weight increase Edited August 20, 20159 yr by robbie
August 20, 20159 yr At the moment i use a scotty newport heavy head but Im not sure what weight it is, its 34". The step from that to a 400g head might not be so big
August 20, 20159 yr Author the fcb is only 384g head......just add a few coins ( with duct tape) to the bottom of your newport and see how u like that weight....
