Posted August 25, 20159 yr comment_246106 Hi Just a quick question , not the biggest one but i'm struggling to choose I have to fill a gap between my PW (43) and my 52 , which is an AW . These 3 clubs will be built same way as the irons set What i will do is putting the AW in 48 and the 52 in 53 , then i will have 5° in between all my wedges . my question is easy : would you take the AW from the irons series or from the wedges series ? Thanks for your inputs Stephane
August 25, 20159 yr comment_246113 So your thinking 48*? not many brands offer this. For me it would depend on what irons and how the AW looks, most don't go with AW from the iron set because it's always chunky but I recently hit the new Srixon irons AW & SW that are part of the set that look fantastic at address.
August 25, 20159 yr Author comment_246114 In fact the choice would be Epon aw703 (49) that I would bend to 48 Or A-grind 50 bent to 48 I have to say the size of the epon aw look little bit big

August 26, 20159 yr comment_246118 i think if you like the PW in the set, especially at that strong a loft, you may like the AW from the set too......im playing the PW from the 716T irons and if they had a AW, i would game that, instead of a traditional AW
August 27, 20159 yr comment_246240 Look at yardage rather than loft. What are your 43 and 52 yardages? What yardage do you want to hit the new club and what type of shots will it mainly be (full or half shots)? And go from there. I'd imagine your looking at a 47 especially if going from a cb set club to a specialist bladed wedge. Good luck half the fun is in the search!!! Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
