February 8, 20168 yr comment_253041 i would just get a mitchell golf shaft puller !!! * im not a fan of the Roberts shaft puller......its very strong and have been known to shatter shafts Edited February 8, 20168 yr by robbie
February 8, 20168 yr comment_253044 I picked up the Roberts puller off the bay recently and it has been serving me well. It's built a bit rough around the edges but is solid. However, if I had high $$$ shafts to pull I might still bring it to my builder. You can never go wrong with Mitchell equipment.
February 8, 20168 yr comment_253046 Depending on shipping from the US, but these are really good. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_GW1009_A_cn_E_29 Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk
February 24, 20168 yr comment_253817 I'd go a Roberts also. I have a Roberts equivalent and have extracted (conservatively) 250 shafts with it. From cheap shafts all the way through to high end stuff. The Mitchell machine is no more fool proof than a Roberts, it has a lot to do with the operator. Use low heat and take your time = no broken shafts
February 24, 20168 yr comment_253832 spring loaded puller (Mitchell's), a mini torch so you can target just the right places (hosel) and a heat gun should just about handle any shaft pulling situation. operator error is definitely in play here, so yes I agree, take your time and be patient
