+TourSpecGolfer
if your looking for steel try a PX 5.5 if its graphite your looking for perhaps a Fuji Tourspec HK80 would be a great choice. HK80s are known to be great in FWs. BTW nice buy man your titty bag must be coming along.
plus1
lol yeah suppose i have a few tity stuff. im lookin to put graphite in it, dont wanna give any yards away lol. yeah the hk 80 is supposed to be class its slightly lighter than the pro 95 i was askin about... but they are similar shafts. i was thinkin the tourspec 652 i have would be too light for the 970 and too light for fairway wood. if it was u what would u do
naylit
I have always been partial to a Pro 95 in a fairway wood. However, I bought a Miz hot metal that came with a HK80 and it's a very good shaft for a fairway wood.
plus1
thanks naylit.....could u plz tell me the difference u felt in the two shafts???? apart from the obvious weight difference. which did u prefer
naylit
I think the HK80 launches a little higher and distance is better with it over the Pro 95. I have always played a heavy fw and driver shaft and the HK80 can handle a hard swing like a Pro 95.

dadriver
I played the HK-Pro80 in both fairway woods and a 10.5* driver. It worked well in both, really helping the driver produce a flatter trajectory than otherwise possible. But the Pro80 is EXCELLENT in fairway woods. The BEST I've played. Sets up well for hard swinger, fast temp--with a moderately stiff tip. Kiertos, I you think you want a High Kick shaft for your J then you should strongly consider the SKW. It's a little lighter than the HK-Pro80, a litte softer tip that will definitely help you work the open face on the J340. HK in the fairway wood...SKW in the driver. Definitely agree with Big Driver on this. Especially with the HKpro-80's in FW's. My favorites.
