nobmontana Posted July 24, 2019 Report Share Posted July 24, 2019 They basically combined the ease to launch characteristics of a fairway wood and the workability of a hybrid. rounded sole, shallow face like a fairway. Sole width is narrower like a hybrid so goes thru the turf easier. Also it uses a .335" tip Fubuki shaft for a fairway wood so it helps further with launch and provides better kick compared to a .350" or .370" tipped shaft.
