+TourSpecGolfer
There are lots of new additions to the Hybrid style club scene in the U.S market but for those of you who havent seen many of the Japanese Utility woods here are some also that rank very well in terms of Hybrids. Spyglass
Chris, What are the most popular Japanese hybrids? That Srixon looks pretty nice. What can you tell me about it? Thanks. Spyglass

Spyglass
Is that Power Tornado a Kasco? That Mac looks interesting as well. Who uses these hybrids on the JPGA tour?
nickyprice
The power tornado shown will be marketed in the US as the Itility iron in May. It comes as a 3-7 individually. I have tested some protos in 33s / 44 r and 77 L and they were great. The price point is lower than the k2k e spec.

xxio
We have a member who currently has both fourteen models, the TM Japanese Rescue, The Kasco TM02, Tourstage Utilities, and now the Pro Combo driving iron. If we all PM him he will be so bugged out he will post a review.
Willy
Xxio, Ok, I hear you. I currently play the hi 858 2 iron (18 degrees) by fourteen with the original 85 gram, s flex, graphite design shaft. I just got hold of the nike pro combo hybrid 18 degree with an ns pro 85 stiff shaft. A rough comparison follows after a short session on the driving range turf (all subjective): feel: the pro combo felt bad, a muted click at best when i hit the sweetspot; the fourteen just felt better when i hit the sweetspot. in my subjective opinion, this was the biggest letdown of the nike pro combo. Hard to make any conclusions, but i don't think it's because of the different shafts. trajectory: range balls used, the fourteen had a slightly more piercing ball flight, good on good hits. But the nike was not far behind. It had an acceptable ball flight (given that I am not comfortable with club at this point) distance: inconclusive, as it was getting dark, but carry was similar (will get back to board as soon as I try it on the course tomorrow) looks: address position: this is where the nike won out over the fourteen, as the nike is a little more streamlined. Also, hybrids seem to be a love it or hate it affair. I will post after my round tomorrow, but again, this is all subjective.
