ohmslaw
Just read Chris (TSG) review of the X-Drive 390, want to know who else has hit this puppy and what they think of it. Also (this is more for you Chris), how much do these things go for? Thanks, Ohms
ProSpec
Just read Chris (TSG) review of the X-Drive 390, want to know who else has hit this puppy and what they think of it.Also (this is more for you Chris), how much do these things go for? Thanks, Ohms Check the driver review sec. There is a very nice detailed review in there. I have the ProSpec with the GD BlueG. I don't have the time right now to give a review that's worthy of the driver but in a word, WOW. Looks alone.... awesome. If you like the deep pear shaped heads you'll love this. To my eye it sets up dead square. Classic full face scoring lines. Incredible black finish with no allignment aid. The little "ass piece" is a total non-factor. Not visible in ANY way at address. Length... like Chris reported, it's long. He said it was longer than the non-conforming drivers. I'm not surprised. Feel.... one word, solid. I got caught up for a while in the TM tour driver hype. IMO the feel of the 390 is much more solid than the TMs. Sorry about the Cliff's Notes version. Work calls.....
+TourSpecGolfer
Just read Chris (TSG) review of the X-Drive 390, want to know who else has hit this puppy and what they think of it.Also (this is more for you Chris), how much do these things go for? Thanks, Ohms Ive been getting lots of E-mails about pricing questions of the X390. here are a few things id like everyone to take into account if you are curious abut pricing. - All X390 Pro Spec Drivers are special made per order often taking 2 weeks before shipment. ( conforming drivers are not big in Japan ) - You can have any Japan Fujikura Tourspec or Japan Graphite Design shaft on it. ( I suggest taking advantage of this because the shaft comes out cheaper and factory installed. ) -The retail price of an X390 with TXD shaft is 88,000yen with a GD or Fuji shaft retail is 115,000yen. Depending on what shaft you choose would be your price. example the W-60 or W-70 both cost 42,000yen retail! 8O so the X390 pro spec with an expensive shaft would be around the vicinity of high 700.00s - 825.00. MCsub
I have it on the Speeder 6 and love it. It is noticeably longer for me than my stock 510TP - I would guess 15-20 yards. MUCH more forgiving and easier to hit than the Maru 8.5. I will add a review when I have more time. Certainly my driver for this year and hopefully a lot longer.
