Import Golf Balls

Recommended Posts

There are many balls in Japan that have never made it to U.S shores. The most recent release is the Nike One " AIR BIDAN". Its basically a Nike ONE for swing speeds below 100mph.

Taylormade has the A3, X3, & M3 Balls as well as the expensive XR05 Ball.

Bridgestone also owns Newig and they make the ball I really like the Super Newig its a very corny comedic brand but the ball go far :o . Tourstage has got the X01, X-01s, Beam, and Synergy ball.

Kasco is a very underrated ball maker and a ball called the Dual Mode 150 is their new wanna be Pro V1.

Overall I'm excited about trying the "AIR BIDAN" a lot of hype has been put into this one and the upcoming JDI ball.

Although my tournament ball is the Pro-V1x, I play a good selection of Japanese golf balls. I can play anything made by Bridgestone, Joe's, New Wing, Beam, Tourstage all work fine for me. They have very similar playing characteristics but don't dance on the greens as well as the V1x.

I also like the Dunlop DDH Tour Special Super Soft (the ones with the green lettering. Before I discovered the V1x, it was my ball of choice.

Play the TS UXs and <UX> (basically U Tri Tour and Extra Distance) as my main balls. Just got the TS <X01>. So far it plays almost like the <UX> with a softer feel and MAYBE more spin on chips and short pitches.

I have TS Synergy balls as well that I have yet to hit but looking at the dimples they seem like they would probably compete with the Lady.
