+TourSpecGolfer
Scheduled for limited release August 20th and maybe full release pending on public feedback, . the X-wedge by Tourstage will be available in normal loft format instead of the normal P/S and S system they are using now. These wedges have been in the hands of tour players for a little over a year and bridgestone actually had 100 protos for sale last September but they had the P/S & S stamps on them. rumor is Izawa does not like them and as the JPGA #1 player and top man for the X-Series it is vital that he plays and likes any new wedge with the X label on it to ensure its success in Japan. Currently only 4 players are using them on the JPGA. Naomiti Ozaki Kawamura Tosikatu Miyazato Another interesting fact is the 2004 maru limited LW is being used by several TM sponsored players and others from the JPGA, very popular lob wedge and highly desired. I think the X-wedge looks quite strange
Guest
They actually look great to me. Perhaps the back bulge look a little odd but the face and head shape look very nice. The finish looks superb as well. Don't suppose there would be a list price at this stage?
TTLam
I love the total black finish. What's the function of the bulge in the back?
+TourSpecGolfer
I sure hope this black finish is different than the normal TS black finish that wears quickly. I really don't know what the buldge does, If I were to guess it raises or lowers the C.O.G. I do like the way it sets up from the 3rd pic. My best guess is the retail price will be 18,000yen

+TourSpecGolfer
Speaking of solid wedges, I think Fourteen low bounce is sweet and these new puppies " The wedges in the pics are called " Grind Studio Wedges " Here are some pics of what they look like before the hand grinding:

lightrider
I don't like the look of those X-wedges. I can't see how that will sell well. I rather play a TM Rac first..... I'm glad I have my Marus and TWs.
