TTLam
Extremely rare Gauge Design Japan putter. This putter is like new. I've played 2 rounds with it, but there are no scratches or marks whatsoever. This putter looks completely new. Comes with original unique headcover. This putter is heel shafted. The Gauge Design original ion grip is orange. Right handed putter. Looking for $550 shipped According to the GD Japan website, there were only 100 made of the heel shafted models. And 100 made of the center shafted. Go here to see the pics (click on ELDIK Proto near the bottom). http://www.gaugedesign.co.jp/Products/Prd_PT.html Thanks for looking! TTLam
Man, it pains me to think about it, but I am gathering too many clubs. If I get a good offer, I'll sell it. Otherwise, I'm keeping this baby!
+TourSpecGolfer
DUDE!! how can you bear to sell this baby?? I'm SO addicted to the pure click it makes I putt 24-7 on my carpet...just shy of hugging it to sleep so to speak Hey Jy, I think because the Center shaft has a head weight of close to 400g, The heel shafted is only 343 - 354g. There are also the new retail model Eldiks that are Nano Casted. The retails are ranked #1 by GDO of all putters currently on the market. What I love about Gauge Japan Black putters is the fact that the coating is Teflon like fry pans instead of a powder coating or other finishes, talk about durable and soft. There are no more proto's being made anymore and the retails are back ordered over 4000 pieces :surprize: . On Tuesday I will have one retail model for sale at 320.00 shipped. I will have a Gauge Japan Custom Studio coming out soon where you can modify the look and specs of your putter. It will be made by the same guys who did the r7 Internet portion of the TM web site. All flash all interactive where you can actually see what the putter will look like before you buy. BTW Jy you are a very lucky man to have the Tour Blue. My first choice is the Proto my 2nd is the Tour Blue. I suggest you try the retail model also it seems to perform better than the proto & tour with a slightly different design and profile. jy
Chris, I bought both the retail and tour together, wanting to keep the one that suited me....the retail has a the longer piece behind which didn't suit my eye...didn't even try a putt with the retail cuz of that. Plus i liked the extra weight on the tour blue. As you can see the retails for sale now..but i'm definitely with you on the quality of ANY GD japan putters. One word.. amazing quality..oops thats two. :-D
