What do you guys think is the best CB Iron in terms of look, forgiveness, feel and playability. It can be from Japan or Tour Issue. If you have pix that would be great.

Thanks

the Gauge design cbs ... the tourstage x-blade cb.... mizuno mp-27....are probally the three there are a couple of others these are probally the best of the crowd. look in the picture gallery for pics under the name.

One thing I learned from this forum is that there is no best. There are lots of good ones gauge design, mizuno, tourstage. One set of irons which I think are unique are scratch, they custom grind finish and everything. I am currently ordering a set from Ari (fairway fred). If you want a set give him a pm he really knows his stuff.

Gauge Design Japan, Hiro Matsumoto, MP-27s, X-Blade CB's, & Inpres V would be my top picks for players CB's.

HOw much do hiro matsumoto irons sell for, and are they tough to get?

Just click the catalog button on the top left hand corner and look under irons...

Its fairly easy to get, click on "add to cart" and proceed to pay instantly... :money:

Are there any plans for a new TS-202 to be released?

Thanks

Sorry Rob the XCBs replace the 202s they are very similar in performance.

Sorry, you should take no credence in asking what is the best cb because it changes monthly.

It is like the cd of the month club.

One month it is Tourstage MR-23's , which has been called the "Holy Grail" of all golf clubs.

Now it is Gauge. Last week it was Xblade Cb's.... then it was no one makes irons like Miura.

If I was you... I would make your decision on what YOU see and think.

Please understand that I dont mean this post to sound nasty towards members here, I just mean that we all have different tastes.

I learned to not listen to the club of the month and make your own decision.

I have found nothing that compares to the MR-23 Cb's for looks and performance. It is the one set of Cb's that I have found that still look like blades and to me that is important.

I personally like very little offset in my irons and that is purely from a looks standpoint.

Keep in mind that MR-23 cb's are not new irons. They have been around for a year or more and I guess they have just lost their "Holy Grail" status, but not with me.

Advice... to you is to get on to the photo gallery and see what YOU like!
