+TourSpecGolfer
Finally they have arrived. I opened the box with tons of anticipation to be disappointed by my order being wrong. These are Chrome not Satin like I ordered. I have two options, 1) return them and wait another 3 months for the satin version 2) keep them and be happy. I selected #2, These Custom Mizunos are shafted with NS pro 950 G.H Stiff shafts with a real cool blue M stamp label and better yet custom/ TOUR serial #s starting with Y with three digits written in gold. This set has no Mizuno text and the M stamp snug in the lower toe area They are a combo set of MP-27s, MP-30s, and MP-37s   :money:

Mikey
Beautiful Irons, Chris. Being a Mizuno fan from way back, I am afraid to even ask what they cost. But... I will ask, what does a set like that cost?
xxio
Chris I was so wanting to see the Satins. I just found out from Miz local they could do the mixed set. They are still trying to figure out if they can do custom stamps and satin.

They are still trying to figure out if they can do custom stamps and satin. I have had to many problems with Mizuno U.S, talk about a pain in the butt, the headweights are all over the charts. I had to go with Japan for several reasons the Y stamp, the M stamp, the MP-27s. These are all D2 3-9 and D3 PW, with NSpro 950's that means the heads are made heavy. shoe295
very very nice irons...I just love that simple stamping..worth the wait even if they are not satin from the looks of them.

They can get both US and Japan releases. I asked for 3-5/27s, 6-8/30s, 9&pw/37s. 6weeks. They haven't gotten back to me on the stamping and satin. xxio
Actually I have been tracking all your posts about these irons and waiting for the results before I got mine. Looks like i will be looking elsewhere aside from Mizuno.

Looks like i will be looking elsewhere aside from Mizuno. Yeah thats a good idea, I'm kinda pissed at mizuno myself and had to sell the irons to another equipment freak. I will be giving them another try and have contacted them to see if they will do something very special to remedy the problem. I want copper under layer  I know they don't do that but I have a pal who is in tight with their #3 guy. What are you looking at XXIO? I'm always up to hearing another Ho's Idea's  I know PI gets all the Japan gear so I think your taste would be pretty close to mine. Now THAT would be worth 12 weeks of waiting. Can I get in on that deal?
xxio
I'm going to probably get a set of blades soon. I realized 3 years ago out of my 4 sets 2 were blades, 1 combo and a set of Pings. Now I have 5 sets of irons but no blades. The digging X blades looks like they might fit me. My no.1 set are the original TM300s which are known diggers. I guess that is why they fit me. I was just given a copy of Golf Gear vol.23 the one with the feature on Miura. I wish I could read Japanese. That being said the two sets constantly in the back of my mind that I have hit and have really liked were the Katana TM303s and the Honma Tour World Ps. Thank you for your Japanese connection on the Honmas. They were just a little more than what I was willing to spend. If I remember it would've come out to $1,500 shipped. My max on irons without wedges is $1,200. Even Ho's have to know their limits. I would love to find a set of either in slightly used condition at Japanese "grade A or AB" at a good price. Let me make a couple suggestions that I'm almost positive you will be happy with. 1) The Fourteen TB-1000 proto Irons, they are very forgiving with great feel just stunning to look at. 2) The Srixion Pro 100's, they have great ratings all across the board and they arnt your average blade. xxio
I know those Srixon Blades keep calling. They've been in and out of being produced and having production stopped for the past 3 years. It is impossible to get feedback on them because nobody has them. The Fourteens look good as well. I'll try to do a search on those.

ShootsTooHigh111
OK, NOW! I am curious. I can hit my 7-9FINE! and my 5-6OK. So, are the MP-27s more forgiving? And can you still get them from Mizzy Japan? Thanks guys. -STH
ShootsTooHigh111
BTW, I still can't tell which is which. Sorry guys. -STH
Breal
the 27's are the ones on the bottom with the pic showing all the cavities the 27 is way more forgiving thats why the 3...4...5... are 27 6....7... are 30 and the 8...9...pw.. are 37 the 27 looks like the 30 but deeper in the cavity
