Posted July 4, 200420 yr comment_47045 I'm just looking for suggestions for Fairway Woods. I'm open to any and all Suggestions Tour or Retail, Domestic or Import. I'm about a 5 or 6 Handicap which comes from bad Course Management maybe. I hit The Ball EXTREMELY High, I make pitch marks with my 7.5* Driver. I'm Probably looking for something that looks good and has a very boring trajectory. Thanks in advance, -Parker P.S. Right now I'm using a TITLEIST PT 15* Bore Thru with a S300 Shaft and I hit it Too High and not quite far enough for my liking right now
July 4, 200420 yr comment_47049 If you hit the PT high then the SS-03 is the club for you. Piercing bullets, amazing feel, great looks and length.
July 4, 200420 yr Author comment_47050 I have a SS03, but for some reason, I didn't like the Feel, It felt harsh to me. Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming. -Parker
July 4, 200420 yr comment_47052 well the old favorites: 970 Silver BBD Type H Tourstage MR-23 ** Tourstage FST TM V-Steel / 200 Tour

Head is 8.5/10 (no sky marks), shaft and grip are 9.9/10. Hits it long and low. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send over some pics. Didier
July 5, 200420 yr comment_47115 Steel Cleveland Launcher series. For me it came down to the Cleveland and the Mizuno MP-001 and the Cleveland just seems to suit me better.
July 5, 200420 yr comment_47119  Mizuno MP-001 are excellent. Mizuno Hot Metal if you can find one. Excellent.
July 6, 200420 yr comment_47235 I'll add my two cents. The ERC fusion fairway woods are great I have boring trajectory with my 3 wood.
July 6, 200420 yr comment_47236 What type of shots do you play. Are you a fader, or a drawer of the ball. It sounds to me like your swing is to steep. Shallow it out, and save yourself some money.
July 9, 200420 yr comment_47676 I'd recommend the Cleveland Launchers or the Titleist 980F. They are both really long. The 3 wood Cleveland was sometimes as long as my driver.
July 9, 200420 yr comment_47703 I am into the TM 200 Steel. You won't find an easier to hit FW and with the right shaft they are very long and accurate. I have a 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7. Classic Woods.
July 9, 200420 yr comment_47828 Sonartec NP-99 might be a good one to try out. Maybe a bit higher ball flight than SS-03, but close.
July 9, 200420 yr comment_47851 The tourstage fs-t or the new Gauge Design, coming out in late Aug. in japan . The sonartec np-99 ,or the ss-03 ,or the a v-steel ,those IMO the best choices...Good luck on your choice...
July 13, 200420 yr comment_48508 From all the woods that I've tried, the NP-99 has the most boring trajectory and into the wind will go farther than most drivers.
July 13, 200420 yr comment_48657 I too am a high ball hitter, and the best combo I have found is a steelhead III 15* shimmed open to 13*. I hit bombs with this thing, and best of all no ballooning.
July 13, 200420 yr comment_48667 I just got my TS F-ST+ 13 deg. , PRGR Duo Hit 18 deg. and TM RAC 2U Driving iron in normal-spec from TSG (Chris). I will post my review soon but so far I had 1 round with the F-ST+. And here's my short term review: Distance - my ball goes 240-250yds (using Pro V1x). Ball flight - it has a low trajectory which is what I wanted. Forgiveness - Fairway or not you can hit this club from anywhere. Feel - Very solid and effortless to hit. Looks - Very clean and beautiful look. I will update with a seperate review as I put more rounds in em.
July 14, 200420 yr comment_48812 if you like your titleist wood, then you should try the 980f Strong in steel shaft. I have that 980f in steel for 5 wood and I like it very much. Or try something with nv shaft in it, it's suppose to lower ball flight.
