hornyjuan
Think it was the Euro and Japanese 300 series. Very hot face and like FAQ said non-conforming. If you don't care about USGA rules then it is one of the longest out there...even longer than the 300 tour.
Landy
I'm not concerned about the USGA conforming rules. I think the PGA has lost my number!
TMMike
And the word is, 9.5* is the rarest of lofts in this is non-conforming TM Driver. What shaft does it have in it, or is it just the head? Thanks!
+TourSpecGolfer
They were retail Japan clubs at one point the R300ti Tour is the 300 Tour but non conforming. It came stock with the Mitsubishi shaft or custom 757. Last year TM Japan closed these out for 90.00 each to select shops. Last year I found a ton of the 9.5s in every shop for 15,000 yen or 140.00. Imagine brand new non conforming 300 Tours with Mitsu shafts for 140.00
FAQ
Here's a couple photos of one I had.
xxio
I still play that baby with a Six. TP cannot/has not knocked it out. It comes in 3 stock options 757, Mitsubishi Rayon, GD YS6. Feel is solid for a Hi Cor. Not tinny at all. My originally came with a 757 which I BOMBED. Shaft broke. A few swing changes and surprisingly the Six is coming out to be better. I get less tired towards the end of the round. I used to have the one with a Mistubishi as back up. Good shaft as well. Tight and long but didn't feel particularly good (boardy). These things are on closeout all over Asia generally in the $150 to 200 price range depending on shaft. ONly came in 2 lofts. 8.5 and 9.5. xxio
Ok I bought it! Â Any comments on the shaft? Â Thank you There were 3 stock shaft options I have had 2 R300 Tours with two of them and have extensively played the other/YS6 in other heads as well. Which one do you have? TMMike
Ok I bought it! Â Any comments on the shaft? Â Thank you Yes, what shaft came with your 300 Tour Ti? I have played the YS-6 s-flex in both a driver and fw wood as well as the 757 x-flex in a driver. Never did play the Mitsubishi shaft however, so can't comment on that one. Landy
Ok this is what I see; Mits Rayon Tour - TM Tour R300 - S Flex - Trq 3.3 - 44.5 Please let me know thank you!
xxio
IMHO that was the worst shaft of the 3. The 757 was "unforgiving" in the sense that it is hard to load properly but when you do you will not hit longer drives and the shaft will feel incredible, if you do not load properly it will feel terrible and not be worth the $$$. The YS 6 is a shaft that will fit a lot of golfers. Tip soft and plays half a flex softer (more in the TM shallow bores). It will help get the ball up but will also help it go left. Feel is also smooth because of the kick you get. Now to the shaft you got. Pretty tight and plenty long. Not as hard to load as the 757 not as playable as the YS6. But the feel is terrible. Good and bad swings feel the same off the ball. I would compare it to a proforce 65/75 with I guess better manufacturing tolerances. :D
Landy
I love the YS6, but would like to try a Mitsubishi Rayon S Trixx or Accuflex Icon Lite. Thank you for all your input!
