jonny5
hi all, I'm in the market for a new stand bag because my nike bag just don't cut it. The irons get too bundled up and i can't fit my Driver, 3 wood, 5 wood and 1 util club in the biggest compartment. It's really bothering me. I read on other forums and many people use the Ogio Exo. I looked online and it does have amazing compartment spaces and grooves to hold the irons however, it's ugly. I look online at the tourstage stand bag and it looks pretty cool, but no pictures of the compartments... Also the titleist bag looks awesome too. Can you guys recommend me what you guys have used and/or liked in terms of a stand bag? I don't think I will use a staff bag anytime soon. Just need your input and photos are nice too !
hornyjuan
Purely looks...the R7 Stand bag is stunning. It also helps if you have an r7 driver...adds to the cool factor. Ogio bags have always been good to me as well.
bruinduke
I'll second hj's recommendation of the R7 stand bag. I vowed not to buy a stand bag with a manufacturers name on the side, but the R7 stand bad made me change my mind (that and too much credit at a local golf store). Great features, pockets galore, dual backpack straps, and convenient water bottle access makes it a winner. Not to mention it looks like a staff bag, but with the low weight and legs of a stand. I also have a Bennington quiet organizer stand bag that does a good job of keeping bag chatter off soft forgings. It's a quality bag, but for some reason best fits 13 clubs (if you want to carry 14 or more clubs, 2 of them will have to share the same compartment). Separate putter slot is nice also. James
just like that commercial "They all agree on one thing: Titleist!" Yeah.. :smile1: I like the Titleist x47 Deluxe Stand Bags.
Minimal302
I wouldn't trade my Titleist CBS41 for anything. Best bag I have ever used.
jonny5
I wouldn't trade my Titleist CBS41 for anything. Best bag I have ever used. lots of talk of that bag, what's so special about it? It does look good on the outside. The OGio exo has amazing compartments but ugly exterior. If the CBS41 has that kind of compartment spaces...im pretty sold. p.s. anyone have some pictures of the CBS41 from the top? and the Tourstage stand bag? I second that on the CBS41, best stand bag I have ever used, and I have tried many stand bags. Better than any US titleist stand bag. TTLam
I use the Ogio Exo bag. They have the most innovations I've seen from any bag manufacturer. Great bags, but not as exotic as a tourstage bag though.

Great bags, but not as exotic as a tourstage bag though. What's the big difference between Ogio Exo and the Ogio Trick? I see the compartments and they seem similar. Only differences are the price and the exterior looks. At least that's what I can see online. yes, tourstage bag is very attactive but I don't know how it looks like other than the pictures on the catalog....anyone have pix? primo
Jones Golf Hurakan - combines style with function. It's not as light as a hoofer, but lighter than most stand bags, Pocket's are exactly where you need them, easily accessed when walking. Looks very classic, no huge ass banner ads on it as say some of the manufacturers.

Guest
I have a preference for Ogio. The club separators are the best of any stand bag I've used so far. Straps are not the greatest though. However, I'm holding out for the new Trick S.S., the most innovative bag strap ever...but I think they encountered production problems. I'm curious to hear other thoughts on the best straps, irrespective of the bag.

(Shling Strap); http://www.ogio.com/products/display.cfm?c...=412500&color=1 I see some retailers stating availability in December! They announced the product in Dec/Jan... Must be having real production problems with the Shling Strap. If the strap works as well as they claim, it would be the biggest innovation in club carrying systems since retractable legs

Just how bad is the Ogio straps? Because I don't think I'm going to wait till Dec. to get a back and was thinking the Ogio Trick, T/S standbag or titleist standbag. cd975j
The PRGR PRCB403 This is the best looking and functional bag out there! THe seperators are great, it's super light, and holds plenty of stuff!! http://www.yrc.co.jp/prgr/english/catalog/...s/goods_in.html
erdoctor
I recently had a datrek sportster that was great in every way except the stand would break after about 18 months. I went with the Wilson Python bag because of the 14 dividers like the datrek. This bag rocks in every way. The strap system has to be the best on the market. It adjusts automatically every time you pick up the bag so the everything is balanced perfectly when you walk. It has more pockets and room than I know what to do with. It cost $129.00 retail and probably less on ebay. Try it out if you can. Also the stand is great quality heavy duty aluminum with rubber at the tips so that it will not slide on slick surfaces like concrete or tile floors.
