DoubleAA
Nick, great extension at contact, your release for the club is identical to that of Bobby Clampet. Hips are almost square to impact. Try to keep your hands farther in front of the club head at contact like These frames Great Shots, you have a really nice swing!

BostonHack
looks like a quick release to me, a la Sergio,
jeffy
Great pictures! Club is on plane, tremendous wristcock, braced left side, strong release, steady head. Your footwork reminds me of Tiger's when he first came out on tour: up on the right toe a little too soon, hips a little too open, arms and club lagging (getting stuck?) on the downswing. Go to the Golf Digest site and look at the swings of the aggressive swingers (Phil, Charles Howell, Sergio). Their right heels stay down longer, and their belt buckles face the ball longer, than yours do. Even Hank Kuehne appears to stay down longer than you do (and we know how wild he is!). What is the shot pattern of your misses? Pushes and hooks? Take my comments with a ton of salt because, compared to you, I'm a total hack, but that is what I see. nickoconnell
Normally, my bad shots are a hook or a push fade. I have worked on my swing a lot and am still trying to keep that right heel down a little bit longer. I'll try and get my full swing up. theswingfixer
You should have photos of your set-up and at least 2 more of your backswing. 1 of which should be the top of your backswing. In looking at your forward swing........including impact, it is vividly clear (to me) that your arms are wayyyyy too far away from your body! I call this a disconnection. (arms working independent from the body) This disconnection is only a symptom. I believe that the "problem" lies in the above mentioned. Need pics. of set up end view and face on. jim
tincup975
I too believe that your hips in this particular swing are way ahead of your arms....get those two items to work together and therre will be a lot more power generated there....my guess....you push fade a lot more than you hook when you misss.....just my .02 and I am not perfect either....happy golfing!!!! sflaspprentice
Hips look like they are moving at a good speed, thats why you hit the ball far because your shoulder line is parallel to your target line and your hips are facing the target at impact. Looks to me like your swing has a very quick transition and you move laterally to the ball on your misses. Your lag looks excellent but I would try to concentrate as someone said above get closer to the ball which should give you a little more power, but also more consistency. In addition to that, get back behind the ball more. Very nice though.
