Posted August 10, 200420 yr comment_52403 Help me out. What is the difference between the U2 and the U3 (other than loft- distance is what I am looking for)? In the Tourspec catalog it says the 16* is the 5 wood replacement but hogan and sonartec says 19* replaces the 5wd/ 2 iron. How does it play compared to the sonartec and or hogan? Length, accuracy and ease of use. Also, does the F/ut have a bendable hosel? I noticed in a review that they were .5* closed - are they hook machines? Can I open it up to square? thanks guys!

These clubs set up square to only very slightly closed if at all. When you choose your F/UT's ... choose by lofts that you want to replace, whether it be irons or woods. Hosel is not bendable. I have the 3, 4 and 5 F/UT's.
August 11, 200420 yr comment_52468 I have a 19° (U3) w/NSPro Stiff Steel. It's anywhere between 190 and 210 for me. I hit a natural draw, but with this club, it likes to go straight. It is, however, very easy to fade the ball and beats my three iron b/c it can be played from really any lie - tight, rough, tee, sand...
August 11, 200420 yr comment_52533 The reason hogan says their 19* replaces 5 wood/2 iron could be that they are about 1 1/2" longer than the fut. My fut 19* u3 is my 3 iron replacement. There shouldn't any difference between the u2 & u3 except for the loft & length.
